China is a beautiful country (from the pictures I've seen) with a great heritage and some very fine culture. However, I am not going to watch the olympics. Feel that their history with human rights is not the best. I will find out who wins, but beyond that, not really interested this time. Maybe next olympics

79:75! We just beaten Argentina! The game was intense,with a lot of fouls and mistakes,but a thrilling sight. One of the best matches I ever seen. The more thrilling match was in last olympics,when we beaten USA. And in the remach they had beaten us(and 99.9% of Lt people say that USA bribed the jugdes.)on tuesday,we're meeting with Iran.

Yes! New Lithuania easily wins first place in the group (unless these naturalised russians strikes again), lets see, who will be in the four final: china or germany, anyway we will claim medal  .

Well, Kipshasz, in the semi-final Lithuania will probably meet a second another group team, this means USA or Spain. Defead them, without, Maco, Dariaus and BigZ (damn Cavaliers  ) will be extremely hard, but Lithuania can easy claim 3th place. This would by fourth time, in history . Other pretendents, seems like weaker, Argentina has been already beated, Russian in naturally, aren't so strong, Greece look terrible (at least vs Spain).

If i remember correctly,Macas said that he didnt want to be in the team after olympics of 2004. But even without BigZ,Macas and Songaila our team is strong. Just remember Euro championship. I think we would been champions of Europe,if it wasnt a loss to Russia. I just hope there isnt going to be a rage of vandalism if we lose to Russia or USA. When we lost to Russia in the eurochamp,my car needed serious repairing(but that was almost for everyone)

Cseh Laci (László Cseh, to be correct in English) won a silver!   That Americain guy wasn't bad either I hope we will win some golds in water polo [is that the name?] canoeing and rowing as well.

i know that basketball is national sport in lithuania, but spain and usa are extraordinary teams and lithuania wasn´t so good after all, again 4th place, in final spain did a really good game, but usa nba stars were a little bit better ones and about that i hate fans who will let rage and anger get over of themselves if their national team loses and i hope that lithuania wins a medal in london.

Espen15, yes Lithuania basketball team were 4 in the Olympic, this is good . Why it were nur 4?
1.Zydrunas Ilgauskas should to be in this team, but weren't, because his club (CAVALIERS) did not allow this, next two players: Darius Songaila from NBA too, and Arvydas Macijauskas, leader of the Olympiakos has been injured. So team hasn't three start players!
2.Bad arbiter. Just look in the LT-ESP game?!
3.Bad oure trainer, the best Lithuania trainers were in the China's team?! No good strategy, most match were played only by the 7! players. no wonder they all were tired, and can't do a lot in halbfinal the fourth quarter, especially, when a few of them has gotten a five fouls.
4.Imagine the same in the other country, example: if in Spanien weren't: Pau Gasol, Chuan Carlos Navarro, Rudy Fernandes and they has a trainer from a Portugalien vicechampion basketball team, who don't rotate players, will they get at least 4 place?!! I doubt.
Thanks for the regard, I too hope, that there we will have more medals .
