Angel, soul, hell, are these all christian words?

I am a poet, and I refrain from using words such as these because I believe they are specificaly from an organized belief - religion.

Demons, devils, satin, sin, souls, angels, heaven, hell, ect. (Can you think of other words like these?)

So if I use these words in a poem will I actualy be using the words of christianity or something?

To me, all of these people, are characters, monsters, and "holy" monsters.

Is Holy a christian word aswell? Screw this english language relying on these words to explain real things.

You think things too much Does it even matter? Besides the word implies whatever you feel it does, an angel to you may be the embodiment of purity and light for instance but on another a vengeful avenger. You should express with words what you wish, not let them restrict you.

Do you have a problem with Christianity, or..?

What's the big deal with the origin of the word.. I mean, who cares.

Chill out, man..

I don't know if it's true but I've heard there's no even a single word about hell in the Bible.

Hell comes from Norse mythology.

There was a evil godess called "Hel" and also the underworld was called "Hel" too.

Bold power

My point is I think about stuff that is important

Who really cares where it derived from, unless you want to analyze wether or not you believe its origon? Do you believe in your own words that come out of your mouth? Or do you just say them out of honest ignorance of what you are saying?

Heaven and hell where demons and angels are.. Unrespectively

And the word spirit, and soul.  Do you believe their source too? Would you rather use (no word for this) words with a false meaning.

The only way to create a true word is to know exactly what your talking or thinking about and name it. Naming is a power, and we have more than 1 million names combining languages... Look in the dictionary or at any word to witness a name.

So then what kind of name is an Angel? (No word for this) Its the kind of name of something a lot of people believe in but is actualy non existant. According "only" to lack of evidence... Angels might be but are probably not in my opinion.

Come on man. There are literally hundreds of words with similar "pointless" meaning you use every day.. and words refering to abstract concepts which are physically nonexistant as well, but hey, they are not Christian, so you can use them, right? Looks like Christianophobia to me. No, it doesn't mean you're afraid of Cristiano Ronaldo

Take it less serious, bro

I'm on the path to not only reality, but knowing what its all about. I have found a few parts of the puzzle so I can say a few things. Where ever those words we derived, I dont care, I dont believe in them.

And about 100's of fake meaningless words.... Yea humanity is kinda screwed up, but language is not going to be any of its downfalls.

Lastly, christianity, budism, terhackatism (whatever) I dont believe it until I see it, so why am I gonna use their words? Point is im not just against Christianity Mr. Doom.

hey, don't worry, i'm not a "fierce theist". I'm just surprised you would want to give up on so many cool words (cool in poetry, that is!) just because of their dubious origin.. The word "demon", for example, also refers to something that does not exist, but can be an excellent weapon for a poet (inner demons.. well, you get the drift).

But if it makes a difference to you, fine, np
