Patience, I work 12 hrs a day sometimes, and can't get on MSN when at work. Right now it is 6:49 pm my time. Send me an HCM with a time you can play. Please give me at least 24 hrs notice. Except for wed/thur my window to play would be 9am - noon. Wed after 9am anytime and thursday anytime at all.

Lost both times, his Deidre just too much for me. That corrupt soil is a killer. Figured I would not last long as this is the third duel I've ever played.

I'm not a good player, but he practicially beated me before i managed to use some spells. His unicorns took the rakshasas while treant came and took a titan if i remember right.
Vampirism on acidic hydras was a mistake. I didn't remember it was favored But i think it was pretty close, also the resisting of spells became pretty annoying

Both games were lost because the hunters did not die fast enough. With Galib it would be easier if the archmages were split, he could shoot first due to fog veil.

I see the first one as pretty easy victory for lethos with little different playing but there's nothing I think he could have done with galib(well maybe arcane crystal on the start and few oddies here and there but not much).
Take out hunters  unis rape you
Take out unis and other hunters I still see a crushing defeat
Split mages not enough.
Maybe because I'm not that good with academy but still...

Take out Hunters and Druids and Stop the Unis with Blade Barrier and Fire Trap. Summon a Phoenix, use Wasp Swarm to destroy your opponents initiative. Fighting with Summoning isn't easy, but if you use it correctly, it can be very powerfull.

I phrased it wrongly. Take out Hunters whth Fireball (or any other ranged means), let Titans finish them off (or weaken the Druids instead), let Galib Cast Blade Barrier In front of the Unicorns, so they can't reach the other side. Hunters should be get rid off in a RANGED way. Wasp Swarm Qualifies as well, as it's a good initiative Killer, Fire trap is good when the barrier fades... etc.. Only don't cast Summon Elementals or Fist of Wrath, both suck big deal.

So you would take the hunters(maybe few druids) and unis out of play.
What about AAs? Just ignore them?

Joonas, when I say Arcanes I mean the creature type, so BOTH Masters and Arcanes.

But you can't kill both hunters and arcanes by one fireball. You need two. D'uh!

I haven't seen them yet (I'll do so in the moring) but from what I've read here, the Magi weren't split. That's a BIG error versus a player with powerfull ranged Forces like Ossir.
Anyway, I'm gonna see them tomorrow
