For starters you can ONLY deal with hunters initially, you have no other option. Even if you act before unicorns I would not cast barrier, better to make sure the hunters will die because of that damn resistance. A fireball/crystal combo kills one hunter stack and hopefully 2 other fireballs kill the other, from that point on you have to deal with the rest. No specific strategy there, many options and situational tactics.

yes, i haved luck. i was in the hand of guarder in the second game, but decay my trents twice but resistence help a lot. he can casts another frenzy or pupp master, but he choses two decays.

From that replay you send elvin:
First of all well played.
The biggest differences here were no split gargs and there were split mages. The unis got bad starting initiative also. No lucky strike for dryads in the first. Your gargs did not die in the beginning so you could use them to take the unis out of play. I think this was the gamebreaker in that one. You got unis and both hunters out of play. The problem was solved with using gargs as a barrier. Excellent. 
But even still it was a pyrrhic victory.

It was only meant as an example, resistance, luck and starting initiative play a great role no matter what you do. My point was that it's still possible to pull off a win though Ossir has the advantage.

Ossir is IMBA. And with those Unicorns he can resist all your Fireballs  (it's not that rare, after all it's a 30% bonus to resistance (I can't remember if Ossir has some other resistances as well))

Ossir starts with Basic Luck AND magic resistance...now that is probably broken
Not sure though if Ossir still has magic resistance if he is playing in a duel...

Worked for me, good job. Dirael wasted her mana needlessly though I suppose Deirdre has too much of an army to take down with spells. Nymus was a bit of a tough cookie, too many gates around to handle  And Irina is irreparably broken, she can go on the offensive, at the same time stay back and shoot, resist and on top of it has good luck and morale. Helmar did some mistakes but to win against those odds..

Well the first match was a massacre, I lost badly and made many mistakes 12 vamparied ghost dragons
The second match was rather even, but 10 stacks vs. 6 can turn the odds also in that match Eugen made a major mistake to let my frenzied Pit Lords attack his blackies
The third match was rather even, in the begining but I still lost badly, oh and my largest mistake was to relaise that I had exp. destructive when I had 1 stack left
