One thing about your guide. What's wrong with having less than three large creatures? Or more? I don't see anything wrong with that. Just because all the factions in the game have that doesn't mean we do.
Otherwise, it's perfect! Great guide, xerox!

I wrote this veeery long ago when I was different (on HC).
Honestly, I do not see a problem with three large creatures anymore. Having not 3 large creatures makes it more unique I guess though 7 large creatures in a town wouldn't fit on the current battlefield and large creatures often fill a good role as tanks.
Some day in the near future I will edit this guide (and maybe the title could say Faction Creation Guide and not Faction Creating Guide? ) with new tips, info aswell as a better "examples" (I will probably use my ICTC town as an example). So probably gonna add stuff to this such as info about large creatures.
Maybe something like this:
("If you want to make a creature that stands in the front to protect other creatures, you can make a so called "tank creature". These have more defensive stats such as Defense and Health to survive better and often some damage absorbing ability such as reduces magical damage taken or an ability which turns it into stone et cetera. The possibilities are endless. It is easier to protect your other creatures if you tank creature is a "Large creature" and covers 2x2 squares (in HoMM6) instead of 1x1 as usual creatures do. Speaking of Large creatures, why not think creativly and make up your own creature types? Like Small creatures. Perhaps Small creatures would be able to walk into other creatures tiles. Large creatures are usually best suited as tanks or higher level creatures.")
