Strider HL (Anwen, Sylvan) wins Tower Lord (Eurina, Dungeon)
Tower Lord (Ebba, Fortress) loses Strider HL (Vittorio, Haven)

Total: Strider HL wins 2-0

Thx for the battles

Comments:
In first game my 5 morale worked for 70%. If it worked for 30% instead it might be quite a different scenery. In second I got crystal shield. In either case I though I'd lose against mighty dwarves but Tower was gentle this time

And the sad story now, finally finished my unlucky games with Strider...
Basically, in this games, un-luck screwed my plans every time ... whatever I was trying to do, it was countered by the universe

First game, I tried positioning my Grim Raiders so they get one attack and splitt 1 Fury in order to protect them from the first charge or the drags, but ATB decided that my 18 init Furys(both stacks) were gonna be behind 15 init Drags ... which hit Dark riders with favoured+luck.
Second game I planned armageddon setup for dwarfs, but he got crystal shield ... end of story as much as I tried to exchange the faith of the game

Hero Raadoo Dungeon(Eruina) losses Strider_HL Sylvan(Anwen)
Hero Raadoo Dwarfs(Ebba) losses Strider Haven(Vittorio)

Sorry, thought i had officially withdrew.  Had time issues first (12 hr days/7days a week at work stinks), then my computer (which is kinda old) decided enough was enough.  It is no longer working.  My appologies for the confusion.

Yeah, you got unlucky with bloodfuries but protecting raiders from dragons (even with full stack of furies) AND letting them hit my ranks with range is not possible. Then again your hero acted before my 12 ini arcanes... anyway that was funny atb Yet, the game was decided by my morale and lack of hydra stack on your side, imo

Games with you were a lot of fun! The most I appreciated your serious attitude and deep contemplation

Updated table (put technical victories for all unplayed games against Fiur and Mytical).

So far only Sichduck and Natalka have finished the tourney, rest have 1 or 2 or 3 games left. So be sure to finish all your games before deadline, which is exactly in two days time (Oct 13th, 12:00 GMT)!

If you can't play the game in time, then at least get in touch with your opponent and arrange exact time when the last games will be played and then post it here. In such cases additional time for finishing tourney will be granted. In all other cases technical loses (and public "shame on you" ) will be put to both players (unless one was rdy to play but another was not; then one will get technical win, antoher - technical loss).

On the bright side - two days before final dead-line, intrigue has reached highest point
Will Strider keep his winning streak till the end with some tough games yet to play left or will Zenithale be the number one at the end? Also who will be among top 3 places of the tourney, is not clear, too - at least 5 pretenders to those 3 spots remain...

Two more days and we will know the answers!

Strider HL (Kilghan, Stronghold) loses sq (Alastor, Inferno)
sq (Lucretia, Necro) wins Strider HL (Nebiros, Inferno)

Total: sq wins 2-0

Thx for the battles

Comments:
In first game my only chance was to kill his seducers but he guessed the placement of kentaurs, cyclops. Leapers with 1 luck both time had it. My seduced suckers hit with luck of course hehe. Had small chance of 25% for resist but that didn't work as supposed. Anyway only luck in all aspects might have brought me victory.

In second I got light magic and ring of unrepentent. Planned to sit in defence and cast wol. It collapsed when worked 20% for bad morale and demons couldnt take the better of skellies. After that i couldnt get the critical mass off vamps. But sq did very well keeping his mass haste on troops - I couldnt counter it because of atb. So hasted necro were more powerful than wol + defending inferno. I wonder if I would do better going the conventional way with inferno, hmm...

Yes thanks for the games

First game defence was too low for orcs + better atb bar for inferno. Luck with or without luck, it showed to clear 80-90% of stacks there.

2nd game, wol with 7 sp was hard to finish off the high hp creatures of necro with vitality as well, mass slow was luckily countered by necro's mass haste thank god, but have word of light ring, sold it to get 1-2 dragons
Prolly mass r.might to counter mass suffering from necro, and a nice mass haste could have worked better for inferno with the tome

True. No luck getting master of wrath (would be perfect for wol as well). Also no defence perk... Not my day

EDIT: on the 2nd thought I suppose I fell into my own trap trying to pursue the original idea of inferno with wol. The concept was fine but no light perks or defence turned the tide. At least that was a good lesson

Strider HL (Jhora, Academy) wins Zenithale (Ellain, Haven)

Total: 1-1

Thx for the battles

Comments:
In first game my only weapon was puppet but Helmar had it covered with both light spells. Morale and luck worked serious overtime as well In second game I thought that the train is gone when atb showed that titans wont have a shot and genies are behind paladins. So rakshasas died easy and painlessly. I placed MOW on titans but was unable to utilize it as 2 hits with luck lied down big babies. Then we started "dancing with wolves"... was great fun. I won in the end.

Thanks for the games Strider.

The first was really easy for me with Light magic and the Might skills. A slaughter.

The second game really strange with the starting atb, but my luck/moral triggered only few times. Maybe the 2 Titan lucky strikes (on my Paladins and on my vindicators) were the turn of the battle. Finally Consume Artifact was the key of the victory.

I hope finish the tourney with Hero Raadoo and Destro tomorrow.

Strider HL (Zoltan, Necro) wins Zilo (Havez, Academy)
Zilo (Faiz, Academy) loses Strider HL (Garuna, Orcs)

Total: Strider HL wins 2-0

Thx for the battles

Comments:
First game was epic. We played for 3 hours with 3 unfortunate d/c in middle that put our patience to the test. It was a game where low probability events occured at every step and where vampires missed torpor only as a courtesy. Zoltan played crucial role as well.

In second game I felt that I got underdog pair again, but shatters on Zilo's crucial magic did the job. Could have been the other way round if he had mass dark perks and better high level spells.

Basically, could have been 0-2 as well but heroes gods decided otherwise

Yah, so it was. Losing those two was no shame, although Strider did better then me on battlefield today. First one indeed was lots of fun, got way more then my share of luck/morale and against any other hero but Zoltan was my victory for 99%

REPLAY IS HERE

Also updated table.

Regarding unplayed games:
Dead-line of tourney is behind, so technically all unplayed games should count as technical losses. Yet, especially seeing some initiative from Zenith and Hero Radoo, extension period for three more days is granted (till Thursday (October, 16th) morning).

As it looks now:

Zenith-Hero Radoo - hopefully you will get a chance to meet each other during those two more evenings).

Rest of unplayed games involve Destro or Vangelis. Judging from info here in forums and activity in MSN, those looks like technical losses for them (unless some other info will appear until Thursday). Yet I really hope that at least Destro will play his game with Zenithale, as outcome of this game influences division of places between top 3 players.

Don't rush It's still 1.5 days till the deadline. It's pitty that several players who enrolled into the tournament have incomplete list of games played.

Also these "+" distort the statistics. For instance, you and Fiur might have won a bunch of games if were more active Otherwise, seems that being passive was the right choice in earning "sure" 2 points

I take a look at the chart ... and with the forfeits from destro and vangelis things are pretty settled ... as Zenithale has 19 virtual points, which makes him undisputed no. 2, and a full win from me wouldn't change much.

Even more, if I decide to forfeit my game against Zen, as I can't seem to match his hours, he becomes co-winner with Strider at the top, with 21 points , more than 50% of those being pure virtual !

I guess what I'm saying is that something's wrong with the rules... and the ones who played more are the ones affected. I'm not saying that Zenithale can't beat 2-0 Vangelis or Destro, but as I and Sq stumbled there, because of unluck, lack of concentration or whichever reason, that can happen to annyone.

I think TowerLord is right. Most fair will be if all oponents get 2 wons vs Destro and Vangelis nevermind real result from played games. Now its unfair to some people. Vangelis and destro are good enough to can get 1-2 wons in any match. Giving 2 free wons need to be for all.
