What is laughable there is the designer comment (in dec 2015) stating with arrogant emphasis that only a pundit or two could still believe -for the sport, that Trump still has a chance. When the simpleton isn't the one you think.

I always enjoy stereotypes, they make the best jokes. Surprisingly, the same people practicing such stereotypes as you show, become suddenly crusty and vindictive when they are themselves targeted by a stereotype. Like "leftist cuckolds", "political correctness braggart", etc.
People lost their humor, I say it all the time

Sure, his style is satirical and sprinkled with sarcasms, he is no politician. But his subjects are exclusively from the politically correct range, it takes zero guts/balls to bash on Trump, le Pen or on Europe's xenophobia. To sum, the guy wants to sell, not to provoke or polemics.

Btw, At the time, Jimmy Clitheroe is actually an older young-man than he looks, he had some strange defect that made him look like a boy. Because of this, during the 60s, he starred in a very popular radio show, The Clitheroe Kid and also did some movie-work before.

Well, the theme is prejudice! And to stand against xenophobia is not only "politically correct" but plain correct, if you ask me. You may think that Le Pen is quite swell but he doesn't, that doesn't make him a sell-out or a merchant, that just makes him opinionated. His opinions may overlap with what is considered politically correct in France, so what? He is from Bulgaria (and originally from a small town), in countries like ours, xenophobia and prejudice prevail in a much more blatant manner, no sugar-coating if you know what I mean. And you directly see it for what it really is. So, you prepare your antidotes against it sharper.
And do you think he is really wrong about the far-right? On one hand, they talk about closing the borders and national solidarity but on the other hand, it's "global business" the way it suits them. "Of course, seen in their original French context, they make absolutely no sense: closing the borders, exiting the Euro, a moratorium on immigration, expansion of la Francophonie “in the lands of Asia, the Americas, Europe and Africa.” Is it any different with Trump? Look at all those towers in Istanbul, India, the Far East. He has no problem with crossing the borders when it is him that is expanding. Can you really evaluate the refugee crisis in Syria if you exclude the involvement of Western politics and neo-liberal economy that partly caused the situation in the first place? If somebody supports isolation (to whatever degree), they must at least accept it shouldn't be a one way street. I think that's literally impossible in today's world anyway.

Well, this isn't the place for such talk, but I am rather picky when someone rambles about le Pen. It is up to you to prove FN is far right, that they are not swell, that there is xenophobia in Europe (there isn't). The thing is that such people do not care about the truth, they just follow the stream and will write any gibberish, to prove themselves that they are "moral".
artu said: they make absolutely no sense: closing the borders, exiting the Euro, a moratorium on immigration,
Its funny how one think he has any proof by writing the thing above:
1) France borders were under control until Schengen convention. Thats about 7 centuries of history, was France far right?
2) The french people voted NO to Europe when he was asked by referendum. Then it was betrayed by its leaders.
3). The right party (Republicain) has in its program a proposal for a moratorium on immigration, and this dates since 1995. Of course now they accuse the FN of this proposal, while they try to hide their own long time identical proposal, which I debunked in the video I showed you time ago.
So is funny how natural things, like having a control on its borders and who enters in, realities which are applied by 95% countries on the earth, are suddenly called far right, when it comes to France.
THIS is non sense.

1- That's thinking anachronichal. Your opinion on something is placed on the political spectrum under the context of the age. Even the most liberal American would probably laugh at the idea of a black president back in 1865. That doesn't make him far-right by the context of his age but if somebody today says "black people shouldn't be president" he would certainly be labeled as far-right. There was a time when the concept of a nation-state, nationalism itself was considered a leftist idea. But that was the age when the idea was an alternative to corrupted monarchies. That's where the terminology comes from remember, the ones supporting the French king stood on his right side on the table and the opponents sat on the left side. History determines the spectrum.
2- The EU membership of France is controversial?
3- I'll have to take your word for that. There must be differences between what each proposed, not just on technicalities but also about their motivations, their rhetoric and the extent of the isolationism. But I don't know much about the nuances between French right and French far-right. Some differences must exist though.

Please don't give me head aches, what is all this about?
Can I enter freely in USA? Can I enter freely in Canada? in Russia? In China? In 289 other countries? No. Are those countries far right governed because they control their borders?
Also you note how "control borders" has been on purpose translated as "closed borders", which is a non sense, they are no closed; is just that you have to identify yourself before crossing them. Wow, such fascist that must be!
I will stop discussion here, not that it does not have interest for me, I am always up to uncover false accusations about "how bad is the far right" -or debate with you, but I know some mods have the habit to think those threads will become history therefore must be cleaned from oftops and look freshly packed. So all my effort probably will be gone.
