The point was that otherwise Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo etc would never have been created and just another damn Failhammer game (sorry, I couldnt resist - feel free to say Failcraft) because Warhammer was never popular in my country (neither Pokemon, I played it when I was 6 years old and it was popular and was really suprised when adults played it on this forum ;P ) so I would never have liked Blizzard then (which was not called Blizzard then btw).

I've never tried playing the warhammer tabletop game, but I know that the story (or at least the 40k one) is definetely my favourite of all I've ever seen.
And why don't I like different planets? Well... I find Warcraft too fantasy-like to have spaceships (and I was talking about the draenei one) and planets... if it was a sci-fi/fantasy mix then I would deem it ok, but Warcraft is clearly fantasy imo. Which raises a question... if the Dranei had a spaceship which they crashed with, why didn't they have like, Pulse rifles or something too?
Maybe I'm just ignorant or something but I simply can't like it.
And I do think there's quite a stable amount of Warhammer players in Sweden Xerox... You'll just have to find them

I did enjoy to paint Warhammer stuff but nobody in (of) my school/friends knew much about Warhammer.
I live in Örebro, so maybe its just here.
I would say that Warcraft is like high fantasy (is it called that?) because even in Warcraft 2 there were "Gnomish Submarines" and the Draenei spaceship is built by creatures known as the Naaru

high fantasy means there is a lot of magic and many varying races.
I think the the witcher for example is low fantasy...
Btw, all lvl 70 idiots look like aliens. Don't say it's not true, because it is. they have plasma armor and light sabre deviations

Quote: Personally im happy that the Warhammer guys denied Blizzard - otherwise Warcraft, Starcraft and likely even Diablo would not have existed today. Blizzard would not even be famous and would contiune to do Lost Vikings and Rock & Roll racing instead
You can't know if the warhammer game would have been bad or not
Nobody knows how it would be like today if gamesworkshop didn't deny them...
Yes, we would. It would've been like warcraft! (Which isn't bad, just a matter of taste)

Then Warcraft would not exist so then noting could have looked like Warcrafr
And I seriously agree that the old 70s had pure lazor gear.
Now it looks totally different, much better.
Since we have returned to Azeroth - we have also returned to the old good fantasy style (except the Steam stuff which have existed in all WC games).
I mean, compare this (lvl 70, Burning Crusade):
lol power rangers and private server = FAIL
VS
Level 80 gear (done through the Model Viewer program since few people are lvl 80 and has begun to raid to get good gear sets)
