Race: Half elf
Class: Bard
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
A survivor that will join either side as long as there is coin and women. His choice of profession was the easiest way to make a living and also an opportunity to see and experience new things. His wanderlust is as strong as his love for drinking and while he tends to travel in groups he can take care of himself as he is a decent rapier fighter.
Hobbies include the darts, drinking contests, pickpocketing and dueling angry fathers. He is also good with the flute. Apart from the standard gear he carries with him a magic bag that can produce random items once per day. For some reason he can never seem to draw what he needs.
He travels in light leather attire with a green cloak hanging on his shoulders. He has long dark hair, green eyes and a hint of a moustache. He's spontaneous and his priorities shift according to whim and interest, he basically wants to have fun. As often happens with such people it's not easy to see whether he is lying or not so his words are better to take with a grain of salt.

I know the stone gaze, actually thats the treason I compinded Swiftblade and Gorgon  I mean, we all heard of the ranged gorgon, but how would a gorgon be in melee? You have to fight them and NOT look into their eyes! My character could wear shades(if they exist) and only take them off in battles(but because of the settings I figured that I might would have to change that into desperate/hard battles so I don't run a to great a risk.)

Exactly! My weakness would be that I don't use magic(I think) and ranged attacks.

I still don't like the prospect of this... But we'll see, maybe we're lucky and magic dies out before we encounter him 
also, I chose ranger for camouflage, light armour and weapon purposes. The divine magic seems a nice bonus on top of it. Fighters are better than rangers in that they wear heavy armour, but maybe I should point out that heavy armor isn't very practical in the desert ( you can't remember your name  ). (Something I wanted to write down about fighter - rogue choice that Joonas is considering)

Yeah I know.
Heavy armor+desert=epic fail
That's one of the reasons why i'm not so keen on fighter choice. Without heavy armor fighter is limited. But neutral paladin doesn't actually sound a bad choice. I just have to know something about what mysti came up with it.
Okay, I'm going to be an Anarch (CN Paladin) with some changes I hope you find applicable. Instead of heavy armor and disable device I want handle animal and heal. That is all. I hope you agree.

I'm thinking of joining but my inspiration is rather low at the moment so in that case it may not be so much updates(like the Armaments  )
I thought my character would be something like this.
Name: Chasem Niidar
Race: Undead
Class: Warrior sort with a small (and now failing) assortments of magic
Appearance: Tall skeleton with a distinct red flare everlasting in the depths of his skull. Wielding a long and slightly rusty sword and wearing a full armor. Capable of using his sword skilfully with either hand or with a two-handed grip.
Description: Powerful ex-sergeant of the Undead armies. Bound to this world by a powerful spell, even it starting to dwindle now. His master and the legions died during the start of the sundering. Now without neither master or army Chasen walks this desert alone, trying to find a "cure" for his inevitable doom.
(Just say if it over the top/Not working)

Race: Human (northern/west asian,)
Class: Anarch (CN paladin), no heavy armor or disable device but handle animal and heal. (if that's allowed)
Appearance: Rather small(about the size of an elf) but fit man age of 25 or so hardened by his outdoor time, looks like one on his late thirties due to extensive time outdoors, black hair, full black beard and moustache, Arabian lawrence type of clothing(thick to keep the cold away at night), yellow brown (sand colour), light scale mail under that with an armor bracelet on his left arm(works as a shield), shamshir on his left hip under the clothing, good quality but worn leather boots. A quarterstaff. Has a camel. Doesn't ride it.(not a dromedar but the real one)
History: Esl left his tribe(Traijah) at the age of 15 after his test of manhood. His chaotic nature did not suit well into the the strict life of a desert tribe where every act was planned and needed to keep the tribe alive in the harsh desert. Soon after he had left the tribe he realised that his chances of survival alone on the desert were next to none. Out on the desert he met a stray paladin, who wanted him to be his successor to the Traveller. The old man died soon after giving him his sword and armor. It's a wonder he made it to the nearest city alive through the desert. He took it as a sign that it was his destiny to become a liege to fill the old man's place. He has been traveling around the world since then. Now he has returned to his "home", the northern desert.
Character: A good speaker who has gained wisdom on his travels over the years but despises order and strongly believes that the current condition has come due to the old order of gods finally getting what was coming to them. Worships the Traveler, Sovereign of Chaos and Change. Talks a lot since he travels alone with his camel company is a rare occasion.
Slightly under average strenght, Above average dexterity, Good constitution, Above average wisdom, Average charisma, Average intelligence

Personality: Elf Hater/Eater(not sure why thou). Quick tempered, kills for lust, etc.
Biography: Not sure...
Characteristics/Apperance:
- Gorgon
- Snake Hair is Orange/yellow
- Got more human coloured skin

- Scales are coloured Orange/Yellow
Clothing:
- White bra
- Shades
- White Cloth belt
Equipment:
- Two blades(Not sure what the type is called >.> Sbaer I think, hmmm...)

You know you can base fighters on dexterity, give them a special feat that allows dexterity to be used on light weapons and you have a swift fighter at that moment, right? Fighter is a vague term applicable for almost all close combat-specialists. (excluding assassin-classes, monks and rangers (rangers don't even count, since they balance between magic, swords and bows))

Though, I am sure that swift blade would have a specialty or something that would make it stronger Just looked it up. Swift blade is an entirely magic-dependant class, right? It says here that they are under influence of 'haste' at all times, so they aren't really strong or fast; it's just magic. In a world where magic is dying, it would be interesting, but if magic gies really faint, you become helpless

A high-dexterity Fighter is rather weak, even with Weapon Finesse (feat that makes your dex modifier apply to attack bonus instead of Strength when wielding small weapons)
That's because the Heavy Armor will not let you have any extra AC from the Dex modifier. So a high-dex Fighter will have a bonus to attack from the dex modifier (with that feat), but one with high strength will have bonuses both to attack and damage from str modifier.
I know there's also Reflex Save bonuses but the most important for a fighter are the fighting skills.
Dexterity works best for classes which don't wear heavy armor.

@Dagoth: Hmm, yes indeed, but I still think this way you waste the fighter's specialty: that it starts with all Armor Proficiencies.
But anyway, the power of the characters isn't important, is it? I mean, mages are already underpowered because of the 'wild magic'
