I am just merely turning some things I see into my entertainment.Is entertainment going to hurt the fashion show?Well,i'm very sure I dont want to be tangled in roots,vines and leaves by an ancient 1000 year old treant.

It looks like a bunch of people from some company called "Umbrella" showed up and cleared out all of the zombies in the audience chamber. Interestingly, there are significantly less people that seem interested in buying tickets for the show now  . For the time being, I had the Necromancer's animate an audience for us (this time a docile skeletal one) so we can go on with the show. Dierdre has won the round this time, and she will be advancing to the Fashion Finals! Is there anything Dierdre wishes to say into the microphone?
Wait... that might be bad so let's scratch that idea. We'll just see her at the Fashion Finals.

First, I would like to say that I thought I'd seen the most booze I would ever see in one place at a time when the Sylvan creatures showed up with all of their tequila. Let me humbly admit that I was wrong. That 5x5 meter barrel of ale being loaded on the stage is a gift from the parade of Fortress creatures entering the audience chamber as we speak. They also said they sent in a host of their hottest women to appease me, but I just see what looks like a bunch of bearded dudes walking in. *shrugs*
Now before any more of my attendants get thrown off the stage for talking about these fellows height, let's get started!
Shieldguard: These industrious, short... I mean... vertically challenged... *microphone off* please don't kill me *microphone on* lads have a secret breeding technique. A bunch of them will appear out of nowhere whenever you attack one of their towns. It is a headache to every invader.
Mountainguard: What these lads lack in usefulness, they make up for in fashion. They wear a beautiful helm and wield a pick that they spent several hours polishing prior to the contest. And on top of that, they spent an extra two hours putting on their make-up... I mean... *cough*... I mean nevermind. *microphone off* Please don't kill me. *microphone on*.
Skirmisher: We have yet to figure out why a race of masterful blacksmiths and engineers use guys that chuck spears as their ranged force, but we don't like to ask too many questions.
Harpooner: Whatever you do, don't ask these guys what the best way to catch a date is. Some things are best left unknown.
Blackbear Rider: You think you're strong. These big bears are somehow capable of pushing around fully grown dragons with their paws. Do not mess with them.
Whitebear Rider: You might have noticed that Al Gore is outside the audience chamber screaming to get inside. The riders of these endangered white bears from the arctic are being hounded by him nonstop.
Berserker: Hmmm. This guy standing next right next to me told me he's in the process of going "berserk". What does that mean? I guess I'll find out in a few minutes.
Battlerager: Nobody knows why these freakishly large brawlers, that are taller than humans, are in the dwarven ranks, but they are. I suppose lots and lots of illegal steroids has it's uses. Just don't ask these guys about their "shoe" size. Lots of steroids has it's consequences.
Rune Patriarch: The scariest part of the Rune Patriarchs is that they aren't actually patriarchs. They're matriarchs. Don't let the beard and the low-pitched voice fool you.
Rune Keeper: These guys are passed out right now because they've been drinking dwarven holy water all night. *Hint: dwarven holy water is not holy, and it's definitely not water.* But they want your vote just the same!
Flame Lord: "Flame Lord" Yea... ok. I'm not going to touch the implications of that name with a 10-foot pole. Moving on.
Thunder Thane: Al Gore has been chasing these guys around too. Something about "renewable energy source" or something. Doesn't that man have any hobbies? The Thunder Thanes here are looking for your vote!
Magma Dragon: Hey, where did all of the Japanese skeletons in the audience run off to? I thought undead were immune to fear. What the... GODZILLA! IT'S GODZILLA!!!!
Lava Dragon: Pfff. THIS isn't Godzilla. You can tell by the copyright symbol located around it's left kidney that it's the property of Fortress. These elemental dragon ladies would love to have your vote!

I was initially torn between flamelord that I love as a unit and patriarch but eventually the latter prevailed. For one they are dwarves, not gigantic ones at that and they also have good fashion sense - just look at those elegant robes and awesome staff The shortsword at the belt is a nice touch.

the RE reference was genius i should of seen that one coming always wondered how the Necro zombies were formed guess i know now you can blame Umbrella for anything
back to topic i vote for the white bear rider..... but one thing that always bothered me was the normal bear rider is a grizzly right? then why is one of the upgrades a black bear never could figure that one out....

I thought that was weird too. Maybe there's a different breed of black bear in Europe that is stronger than the North American grizzly bear? I dunno. Or maybe the designers just don't know the animal kingdom very well 
I suppose Ashan is it's own world and they can make the black bears stronger if they really want to. But then why not make up a different breed?

ya maybe but i doubt it but hey the world works in weird ways doesnt it? my guess is the developers dont know there bears very well. a polar bear in many ways is just as tough if not more so than a grizzly so i can see a polar bear rider being a alternative to it but not a complete upgrade while the black bear should definately be the base creature.
i can see if ashan works a different way but being canadian not seeing the grizzly as one of the upgrades confuses me no matter what

Tbh, fortress creatures do not exactly look appealing, but at least they belong to a "good" faction.
