Resigning from modship
I don't know if you've noticed, but in the last few weeks I almost wasn't at HC at all. I couldn't post or take care of the Altar, I just didn't function as a mod. The reason is simply a lack of time, mainly because of the school (in this program I'm taking) and the youth movement, that barely leave me any spare time. I didn't know it would be this way, I didn't know it would be so hard for me to get to the internet. If I had known I wouldn't had been a mod.
Therefore I have to resign from my position as a moderator and from the AoH team. I feel really bad about it, since I used to have hours to spend here. I want to be as active as I used to be, but I simply can't do it. I feel it's my duty to go away when I see that I can't function as a forum moderator. Unfortunately, my disability to function isn't just a passing period, it's the soon year, probably even two years. I know I've been a mod only for a short time, but it will be a mistake to stay when I'm not able to mod.

I think that's a bit of a drastic measure, especially since you don't actually have to be here to moderate effectively. Just look at the WoG forum.
Besides, IMHO you've done a great job so far.

Those moderators might be currently busy or away, but that comes in periods.
My busy period is going to be a year or two, so it's better not to go on.

Noooooooo!!!
You don't have to be around all the time to be a great mod!
I mean, look at Shadowcaster, look at Kookastar, they don't come on-line that often, yet both do a good job
Don't Resign Gadi, the Altar needs you.

Lex, I was taken to be mod to invest effort to help the forum. From now on I won't be able to do that.
By the way - I've thought about it for a few weeks. I'm getting more and more busy with the time, so for the long term, it's better to go away.

Hmmpf, well I guess you weren't up to the task yet (mark the Yet!!!)
Being a mod is a very responsible job, but I am certain you will be ready to carry the modsword again someday

Genielord seems to have thought this through. It doesn't look like a quickly made decision and seems reasonable. If he doesn't have time he should cede the position.

Well I also find this a bit exagerated but GL is the emotinal kinda guy .
I'm not much a Altar visitor I only saw you were handing out many QP's and got some life back there. Which of course is a good thing. Anyways of course I respect your decision eventhough I think it is a bit too drastic (Someone mentioned Kooka and Shadowcaster I'd even say Pan aswell, they don't visit very often but they get the job done). But heeey whatever makes you feel right.
Take care. But you won't leave HC again will you?

I'm very sad to hear that, Gadi. After you joined the ModSquad, the Altar made a big stpe forward (I mean, it was an avalanche of good thread because of your QP-awarding policy). And the Weekly Altar Day was a great idea.
I hope you'll return to the ModSquad someday.

Well I respect your decision if you think it's the best, but you did a great job as a Mod IMO.
