What? You get 4 red stars when you get 8 QP's but the improvement there is that you lose flood protect. Being able to rank a thread is something that might not be used very often by some members, so perhaps something else would be good to have when a person reaches 5 red stars, or perhaps even 6 red stars (there is no bonus to when you actually get 6 stars as far as I know).
And it was just an idea RSF3 had, it would be cool to have some kind of different avatar or something. Now who is the one being conservative?

I'm not being conservative, I'd agree if some actual bonuses would be implemented for 6 stars, but a star avatar is not improvement at all IMO.

Honestly I don't really see the point, but I do appreciate your effort creating these star avvies.
I mean, don't you have Yellow stars displayed below your avatar? Why the need to change your avatar as well? It's not like it grants you a specific bonus.
And as Alc said, you can upload a star avatar, if you really want.

I know that this is RSFs thread and all, but I just felt like doing my own custom mod shield.

It's a modified picture of me. I had my school shirt on originally, but I made the entire background black, and then changed parts of me into a mixture of black and white to make it look a bit better and so it suited the background colour. I was also inspired by the dvd cover for the movie, Scarface.
