I noticed this bug couple of times in my games, and it's not just that if works for firedragons only, but it only works first few times, and after that it become unavailable, like it should be. Maybe someone with extra time could investigate this further, but this is my experience with this bug so far.

Of course, up to 2 times each unit with greater rune and as most runes it lasts for one turn.

Yes of course  . Only, I meant first few time for entire game it works, and then become unavailable.

Maybe you ran out of sulfur? In my duel map it worked normally.

Every game? With dwarves? Maybe. But I am not sure. What I am talking is regular game, with many battles, and that in first few it works, and after that it doesn't.

I will watch it tonigh, after work, but maybe you could try adding some neutrals on your duel map, playing couple battles while activating rune of dragonform with firedragons, and see if it works all the time or not.

Well hind sight is ALWAYS 20/20 .. Sure after the battle its easy to say.. well I should done this. OR if I wouldnt have done this then OFCOURSE I would have done this... etc etc.. but when your in heat of the original battle and adreneline is going.. sometimes you make a rash decision that later see there was an obvious better choice.. so IF DragonForm wouldnt have worked as it wasnt supposed to... maybe he woulda casted etherlesness rune cause he was afraid of retaliate from Dragons... who knows.. thats my point.. once that bug happened.. it screwed the battle up.
I have lost many games to more silly stupid stuff, but just doesnt feel right to lose to something that isnt supposed to be allowed in the game. I would almost feel more settled if we refought the battle without using DragonForm rune and see if same result. All I needed was 1 hit point left standing after his last mana was expended on his last shot and battle was mine.. without dragon form maybe he makes a bad choice and doesnt use beserk instead uses etherlessness.. who know.. cant say now.. sometimes people make moves in battle that are not same as what would otherwise look like obvious after the battle.
Just some food for thought.

Well I tried it myself, and I was wrong. Only firedragons, and unlimited number of times overall. And still in my mind there is a memory of something different. Could it be that drugs really kill your brain cells?

So its confirmed its a bug.  So I challange Lord Nerevar to refight the battle without using the illegal runebug and if same result then it was ment to be. I rather feel like I lost to a player then to a bug.. way to unsettling. If you win again, I report ofcourse.. if I win.. we call game a draw. What do you think?

Jinxer, tell me you are kidding. If you lose you lose, be it misclick, bug or whatever. You should have played better to win in the first place than complain later. Move on, it's over.

Rune of Dragonform is avalible on non-upgradet lvl 7 from very long. Its not bug...just new for Jinxer

It's not a bug, just not documented propriety. And lose are lose, bug or not. Why people accept loose so hard ?

If it's not supposed to work on dragons and it does then it is a bug and should be fixed in the next patch, the rumored 3.2.
Documented or otherwise.

Well I ofcourse will report loss.. but you cannot claim that it is not a bug! The description clearly says DOESNT WORK ON DRAGONS. In future games anyone who abuses this bug in games with me I will consider it cheating and remove them from my play list.. plain and simple. Lord Nerevar didnt realize this was a bug until it let him do it...so cant blame him... but now its out in open. So noone else has any excuses about exploiting this obvious game bug. Would be the same as finding an obvious passability bug on map that let you have a relic for free instead of fighting guards.. and someone taking advantage when they know its not supposed to be that way.
and for the record... I dont care about losing.. lol.. I have over 56 losses... but I want to be beaten the entire battle by my opponent.. not have a game bug influence the outcome.. no matter how small it may have been.. it affected battle and could have played arole in outcome.. that is the part that is hard to swallow.. But to some people.. getting the win and the points is all that matters.. how they win matters not to them.. I am just not that way.. To each there own.
