Sorry to disappoint you Nikita, but Xarfax is correct here. Your formula is completely wrong. And this also counts for your "Heroes3 Guide" you posted/linked in the "Heroes 3 tactics thread"...Many faults and wrong statements. I didn't say anything as of yet, just to see if anyone else has read it and comes up with some questions.
And btw...NO hero can raise the chance of deathstare by the cows...not even Alkin..

Depends on how you define noob. But you're for sure no expert...but you are on the right way....just accept some hints from older/experienced players, then you will improve more and more..
And one more note to the statement Aculias made: I have to underline that. He may be one of the most underestimated guys here, probably because most judge him by his spelling...but good grammar is not all..

@NiKitA: it's great that you have enthusiasm  however, it's bad that you post wrong info...I would recommend you to go to Gamespy and play some 100-200 games with human players, then perhaps you will understand Xarfax or Angelito

Maybe this is just basic thing but i love to split basilics into stacks Main-1-1-etc.(depends on how many free spots i have) they don't take just the relation but they have chance to use their ability and making 100crusz freezed is good in exchange for one creature

Well Fortress dont need spells.
All the spells they need in in the first 3 levels of the guild. Expert Earth,water & some of the other handy spells like haste etc.
You dont need Meteor or whatever they are lol.

I don't think that it is good advice  freezed monsters take only 50% damage. And you still have to kill them!
P.S. normally you don't have even 1 free slot. Normally you have to make a choice between: 7 slots with native creatures, 1 slot with Wyverns from Hives and 1 slot with Angels from Conservatories...

but it is like blind(less powerfull version) and when one creature is "freezed" i can care about the second and i usually don't take the gnols and lizards with me(when i go away from my castle and it's outskirt) cuz i give them to another hero which clears things left around my home castle and the main go forward and i use this method when i can i will try it w/o it sometime ..(I have played just like 15online games so iam not experienced more than you..) but i found it usefull - but it is maybe just my oppinion
btw. the 100cruzs maybe wasn't good number of creatures to say cuz it can look like i speak about final battle i use it just around half of second week..
EDIT: i was thinking about it again xD and i have to say that u're right it isn't good advice ... cuz i don't decide when it comes and it is better to waste my gnolls than basilisks so i take my words back....
