Quote: You know i have an idea for this mark under hero . I think You could use one of this , but you should ask before that TSoD ... I think he will let you use his marks . You can always made some changes in them ... But whith that you should ask TSoD too .
Sorry if my english isn't good . I'm just learning it ...
That mark at the screenshot is just a test. I'll try to make a more pro mark later. And if I can't come up with anything neat, I'll ask TSoD if he would allow to use one of his marks (they are all awesome indeed).
Don't worry about your english, mate, I understood everything it's not my native language so we're in the same boat here.

Seems that I'm creating a creature after another... here's the Experiment
if you have suggestion which (high level) Oblivion creature this unit could replace, please tell me. Otherwise this unit will be left crying outside the gates.
(btw I've already removed the smoke/fire coming from his mouth, so no need for comments 'bout that)
attack effect:
Now guys, I've made some custom voices for him that actually work ingame (see my Sound tutorial)... I'm seriously thinking about making HIM (not the band ) the tier 5 creature. Comments please!

What is this new creature? It looks great, but Demon Lord hasn't death animation, so you'll have to make something like exploding or "stoning" like lizards.
Great job overall dude!

It does look quite good, however, it would have to replace a none-beast, which you dont have many of, so maybe you could include it in the campaign, call him the king of demons, and make him stupidly strong, and have it as a 1vloads at the end. just make sure hes extremely strong

No, by no means make him insanely strong. But, then again, I don't know who he could replace. But he's so awesome he should go in nonetheless.
May I suggest making unique models for your new Heros, just to get a jump on it?

Actually I'm planning to dump those vampire-models from tier 5.
Here are pros about Demon model:
- Vampire-look-a-likes don't look strong (lvl 5) compared to this Demon model,
- They are not too attractive visually, and look like wannabe ninjas... I like this demon better,
- Demon model would be unique creature model, since it's only used as hero atm.,
- Unique sounds; I used my own voice (mixing and pitch tweaking with Audacity), and I'm quite happy how they fit that D-model.
Here are cons:
- I really liked that ghostly Soul creature (5b),
- I have to find a way to make proped death animation for Demon.
So unless someone really loves those vampire-ninjas more than this Demon, I will replace them
(oh, and as tier 5, there's no way I'll make him über-strong )
So... which one should have the place in Oblivion?

Demonic minotaur, from god of war
abilities : undead, armored, champion's charge, lava breath, leap (if there is an animation for it)
that fits quite well with what he can do in GoW. he is massive, aggressive, breaths fire and sometimes leaves fire trails.
Note : I chose champion's charge instead of fire breath because that is more original, and that seems interesting with lava breath.

They do look alike indeed
Yes, I might need to undemonize him a bit. But the story behind that creature would be that he's an experiment created in secrecy by Uni's Mages. They made him half-beast, half-man.
That poor thing.

actually after playing god of war, I thought a demonic minotaur in H5 could be fun. and it seems you found a good model.
on the other hand, I don't feel like modding, but you know what you could do with him.

That demon looks cool...Maybe you should recolour, when it wouldn't look like demon... 1 way or another, it looks better than vampire, because vampire looks like necropolis creature...

Demon Lord absolutely has my vote!
EDIT:
Quote: (sorry Crystal, I messed with <uid> again )
I have nothing against it. It's just for your own good. Using <uid> can and I'm sure that will make bugs.

Yeah, I'm afraid of that also, at the same time I'm pretty confident that it will not. But I'll do many hours of testing by playing some maps on every faction, and making sure all normal game phases go through smoothly without crashes or serious bugs.
Graphical bugs are inevitable since it would require exactly same bones, bone-lenghts and same figure where those bones are connected, for a creature using copied UID.
Those UIDs are basically skeleton movement files witout extension (if I've guessed right), so if same UID is used by two different characters, it should not cause any application problems. UNLESS there are more included than just animation movement.

!!!! I need you help, friends !!!!
I've searched for ages how to remove that RED / YELLOW glow from town walls. No luck so far, and I'm beginning to be very frustrated.
It's not texture related, and I have browsed trough several effects that are connected to Inferno (like bottomglow, lavaglow and so on). Neither it seems to be Inferno_light_(Panov).xdb that can be found on town interiors, if you search the town interior -thing with map-editor, since I've changed all of those values to match blue (in actual .xdb file, not just in editor). Now I have a hunch it might be _(DistanceFog) related but I'm not sure.
Another clue I can give you is that I started modding this game with 3.0 version. So maybe you could search from v.3.1's data .pak. I have istalled 3.1 long time ago but as I said, I started this with 3.0 and made first changes to that.
So if you have time and want to help me out here, I'd appreciate sooo much. I can't promise you fame and fortune, nor princess & kingdom, but you will get your (nick)name on this Mod's credits under special thanks for sure
