I did some testing today and it seems as if your creatures in the town were blocking the way (although the hero could actually pass, but it's still somewhat odd in-game). Could you script those as objects that can be visited or something...?
Also, I think your hero specialty and bonuses when leveling up are better than my idea about summoning Angels... It's more balanced and makes sense.
Great stuff, keep it up.

But for some reason the Pit Fiend and the Pikeman are still blocking the way I've tried several times, so I don't know what's wrong. But if someone could just edit them with the Sergey object editor or whatever it is called, it would've been fine

OK, thanks. Don't have time to test it right now but will do it later. The thing is the creatures work OK, but it seems as if you're attacking them... Might be confusing for players.

major update - please read carefully
- file name changed to "pilgrim" and map name to "pilgrim's progress"
- polished lots of details on the adventure map (except edna's and dj's parts)
- updated my scripts (edna, i totally forgot to check your v's and z's until it was too late - hope nothing overlaps )
- finished "turkey" and edited mamga's and vancho1's areas (since they seem to be MIA... if you guys are not happy with the job I've done, feel free to say so and edit your areas)
- added special victory condition: find and transport the grail to a tower... shall we introduce another special loss condition (in addition to lose hero) - time runs out? let me know what you think!
- still no idea what all those portals and tents mean...??? ideas welcome!!!
- deleted community_map.txt and added pilgrim.txt "read me" file
- current version 0.8... in other words, the map is playable but not finished
What's next? Now we all test our map! Newcomers are welcome, but as testers not mapmakers. What should you do:
- play the map (you don't have to finish it, but it helps!)
- note any bugs, especially ERM errors
- report impassable paths and unreachable objects
- let us know what you thought: how to improve the adventure map? how to improve the gameplay? what spells/skills/arts/resources/creatures to introduce or delete? how to balance the scenario? how to make it more interesting (but not too hard)?
- what about the story? any suggestions?
You do not have to write an essay LOL just answer some of the above!

Well there are a lot of monks andat the start you choose a monk so I thought that christianity is there...anyway if you want change it...

Well with time limit the player may not be able to visit/finish every(or at least a big part) of the quests...but without AI... well I think a good time limit is OK....

In the halfling town you can get Sharpshooters. And one of your quests is to bring a sharpshooter from the snowy part of the map to the town that Kesnar made, but if you can recruit them anyway, this quest is somehow ruined. IMO you should set a quest gard that requires the Pendant of Free Will to pass (the artifact you get after completing the "Sharpshooter" quest) and be able to recruit more sharpshooters, and you should get the artifact back after you've used it to open the guard, as I've placed the same kind of quest guards other places on the map.
And we still haven't finished the scripts that Paulemile wanted to add to Turkey.

Good point. Those Sharpshooters have to be replaced... Just like the Rogue dwellings, because one of the quest huts asks for those (and I wanted the player to use the Pendant of Free Will to upgrade Peasants to Rogues ).
Also the house in the Halfling village is a blank object at the moment because it could be a commander hut if we decide to enable those.
Mamga, what about that black tower in your area? What did you intend it to be?
There's A LOT of issues like that... But you can't spot all the problems by checking the map in the editor - we must play it. It's tedious, I know, but it's essential part of mapmaking.

Oh crab. Well, I guess it's not hard to replace it woth something else, perhaps a quest where you have to save someone/something (more than one) from some rogues in a forest, and we could either remove the Rogue Caverns or just script them into Monster Banks.

I fixed my portion of the map and here the map is... its not in its package(i'm not very good with winrar) so don't play it.

and also i put the dark tower so somebody else could use it... perhaps it could be the home of a vampire and have a fight or such.

Thanks for the update. There is one more thing about your area: see that placed event? It's too close to the Skeleton... So when the hero attacks the creature, he will trigger the event after his fight with the Skeleton. Not sure that's what you wanted...?

Well since the event is worded for before the fight that isn't good...
I'd appreciate it if someone could push it back
It'd save me a few minutes and i think we still need to help the map... i also think the fight might be a bit too easy for the reward...
