You do that.
In the meantime, I'll enjoy seeing Yoda beating the crap out of some Barbie dolls while you read through all the epic lore and literature that can only be found in such a fascinating and unparalleled universe as Tekken.

Neither. The best fighter franchise is obviously Soul Calibur. It has so much depth beyond the spamming fest that is online in SCiv that it's a shame not mentioning it as teh best fighting games.
Street Fighter 4 is 50% hype, 50% nostalgia over a dated fighter with so-called depth and MK died after Mk2.
If you want some serious 2d fighters I suggest you put your eyes on the upcoming Blazblue made by ArcSystem Works, company that is "guilty" of making the Guilty Gear series which is the best in 2D atm.
But yea, SoulCalibur is pretty much my top choice when it comes to great fighters with atmosphere, depth and great gameplay.

Even both are under Namco, there are 2 separate teams which make this games. For example Soul Calibur is made by the Namco sub-company Project Soul while Tekken is by another one... which I forgot the name of, but you get the point

What I also find a rip-off in fighters are clones. Look at Street Fighter IV : Ryu/Ken/Dan/Sakura/Sagat/Akuma/Gouken all with the same moveset (with small variations)... that's kinda lame in my book, but then look at Guilty Gear... mhmmmm
And even tho everyone is hyping over SF4 which in my opinion is a mediocre fighting game which I cannot take serious, I still think the best fighter of 2009 will definately be Blazblue, hands down and my proof?

In this contest there can be only one clear winner. Soulcalibur.
Anyhow I prefer Street Fighter of the two. But Mortal Combat > Street Figher, and Soulcalibur > Mortal Combat imo.

I love you... No..
But seriously tho, all Soulcalibur's deserve praise for what awesome fighting games they are and for all the depth. Mk had died long ago when Midway finally thought they should go into 3D and not only that but they also did a final blow by making that stupid crossover with DC comics. Look at them now, FINANCIALITY!
Street Fighter's are far better than Mk's but I hate CAPCOM for not bringing something new to the table and still milking the same stuff over and over till it will run dry.

+500 respect points to Booboo.
You've got good taste for fighting games
I've had my eye on Blazblue for some time now... the music is awesome!
Hehe, Bloodedge and Jin is pretty much Sol and Ky in new forms though
That game will probably be my next purchase for the 360... hope a D-Pad works for 2-d fighters...
Bah, considering I learned to kickass on a keyboard with Guilty Gear everything's possible First time I tried Guilty Gear I thought I would die, the AI completely masssacred me...
I don't agree about Street Fighter 4 though, I haven't played it but it looks awesome, looks like it really requires tactical gameplay.

Hehe, thanks but I really like Arc System fighting games since the first GG and Blazblue is shaping up pretty ossom. But all in all I'm a big Soulcalibur fan, just so you know. About SF4, I played it since it came out and seriously, I'm not impressed. I dunno what to say about the 360 D-Pad since I have PS3 and I know it's dpad it's pretty good but even that takes some time to learn. And even if most of the BB characters seem like clones they are way better than their GG counterparts IMO. But I can say this... you're so right about the music, Blazblue OST is SEX!

I know who Noel is but I can't answer. In all the interviews I've read it says she's a girl. Even in the story it clearly states that but we can't know for sure can't we ? (arc system works can surprise us everytime)
hehe, when I first heard Bridget was a androgionus boy I didn't react very well...
