Grand Adventure Awaits.
Ever wanted to know what it was like to live under the sea? Wanted to fight pirates or be part of a robotic armada bent on taking over the world? Desired to have super powers or fight dragons? In this forum it is all possible. The gates are open, epic adventure awaits, and all you have to do is step inside.
This thread is sort of a sign up sheet. If you have the time, energy, and desire to participate in a roleplaying game, but none of the current threads have caught your attention..sign up here. Here is what you should include.
Preferred Genre: Into sci-fi? Fantasy? Superheroes (or Villians?)
Preferred 'Alignment': Even if the game doesn't technically have alignments..are you good, neutral, so evil that demons have built statues of you?
Preferred 'type' of adventure: this is a bit more obscure. Do you prefer freeform, or more structured games?
Availability : How much/how often can you commit to posting? Once a day? Week? Month?
And anything else you care to add, basically what are you looking for in a roleplaying game?
Even if you are currently in a roleplaying game, if you have extra time for another..sign up

We haven't had any with dragons. Actually I'd have an idea for this but it might be better suited to a book than an RPG. 
Basically I'd be in need of RPG that is updated regularly but slowly and it doesn't need long time to write a post. Most RPGs fail either in that regular apartment, they tend to have rushes where we advance 5 pages and then it can be silent for months at a time.
EDIT: Actually thanks to that shapeshifting thread I got an idea about a RPG. Or a class to an RPG. I'll make class introduction first.
Game : Dragonmasters
Lore : Tales tell that in ancient times horrible beasts, Dragons, circled the lands causing fear in peasants and nobility alike. What has been forgotten from the the legends is that some people thought they saw a shadowy figure of a man on the dragons back...
Creature : Dragon
Appearance : Dragons come in a all shapes, sizes and colours. They can be pink, fluffy and big as a lorry or green, slithery and weight a pound. They can be wyrms, chinese dragons or almost anything one can imagine.
Abilities : Varies, flying, swimming, diving, water breathing, firebreath, magic immunity, etc.
Description : All dragons are intelligent, far beyond human capacity but their logic and way of thought is greatly different from humans. Thus making them seem alien to humans. And they are often the evil monsters in stories.
Notes : They live for thousands of years and are very rare. Creatures of the legends. No one has seen one for decades. Only old storytellers tell tales of them.
Class : Dragonmaster
Idea : Human as any other human till their 15th birhtday. Some mystic force drives them to start a journey to their partner not paying much attention to anything else as if enchanted. This trip can take months before they reach the dragon in some faraway place. (or it can be hidden in the spring in a middle of a forest just league away, depending on the dragon) Their mind fuses with the dragon's making the two become one. From that point on the two share one single mind.
Appearance : The human's lifespan is also lenghtened to that of the dragon making them seem forever young in the eyes of the other humans. Often bears some resemblance to the dragon. (same coloured eyes/hair as the dragon etc.)
Abilities : The human part gains some abilities depending on the dragon but mostly those that grant the master the possibility to travel with the dragon. (like some resistance to cold so they don't freeze to death if the dragon knows how to fly and is big enough to carry them etc.)
Description : The Master doesn't think like a human anymore so it keeps him/herself above humans and most often treats them with arrogance and ignorance if they should ever meet any. The humans treat them with fear, hate and doubt. After all they are something they don't know and only the oldest tales tell of.
Notes : The master and the dragon are usually somewhat alike. (So not a sea dragon and a person who is afraid of water, that'd create a too messed up mind.)
Possible RPG based on this. IM me if you want to know something or have ideas. Thread might jump up at sometime in the future near or far.

Im interested in some RP'ing again (obviously). Anyway great idea with this sign up thread.
Preferred Genre: Fantasy!
Preferred 'Alignment': Differs completely depending on the RP. So far I have done mostly good characters so it would be interesting to be a bad guy
Preferred 'type' of adventure: Freeform, though there should still be some sort of a "Game Master". As long as you dont play with actual stats in the Rp.
Availability : Probably dont have time for once a day, but surely for several times a week.
Also it would be interesting with some more Ashan RP. So far the only one I've seen was Reign of Chaos. Maybe I just missed them all or something.
Also if it was an Ashan based RPG where they will be major military clashes, perhaps you could determine the outcome by Duel Matches? Just an idea though.

Preferred 'Alignment': well, i would probably be evil, but so reclusive that i'd be an enemy of the main evil force but work with good for my own ends.
think of Dhevron from Reign of Terror
Preferred 'type' of adventure: it should be somewhat structured, but very free. Thinking of Reign of Terror again

you will see that i have put a lot of work into it. In fact, I am writing a book on this, but encountered quite a nasty case of writer's block, so i made that so i could get ideas for my story that way.
I really do want success in this, but another rpg to occupy my time is cool too...
