Steve
((Just remember you can't catch any pokemon unless you purchase the Safari Balls)). The safari zone has really picked up now that pokemon have crossed regions. All kinds of pokemon, beautiful and ugly, majestic and grimy are all over the zone. You see people out there with special colored balls trying to capture them, some succeed and some fail. The pokemon seem to be having as good a time trying to avoid being caputured as the people trying to capture them are. Out of the corner of your eye you see a yellow and black figure just for a second before it vanishes.
Signs everywhere state "You may only catch safari zone creatures with special Safari Balls available at the Safari Zone counter." with a map.
Yari/Thor
You arrive back at the manor to see a well dressed man standing at the door. He is faced off by a houndour and a growlithe. "Please, your little pokemon can not hope to defeat my Dark Orbs, let alone my newest addition." You see two floating black orbs ... and one of the most majestic creatures you have ever seen. Rainbow colored it looks something like an oriental dragon with deep blue eyes. (Something like a milotic but not quite). It seems to be in pain, and very upset. A weird looking collar is around its neck.
Amber growls at the guy. "Why don't you let her free, she isn't meant to be owned. She is not like the others, you are hurting her!"
The man smirks "I will do as I please. Shasha power up your hyper beam...prepare to remove these pesks from my path.."
Amber sees you (Yari) and grins. "Oh .. no you don't. Yari...NOW! Growlithe...take out that collar!" Growlithe leaps and takes ahold of the collar with its teeth and yanks, breaking it. ((Yari does rememeber what to do right?  ))
Derek
The mans eyes lights up. "Quickly, you must show me where her body is. Did she have anything else on her? A medallion perhaps? I think she yanked it off the Mayor when he killed her, and that is why he was so frantic to find the body. If he gets wind somebody was asking around he may find it first, and then even with a body we might never prove anything!"

((Remember? No. Found out now? Okay.))
Steve looks around for the yellow and black...whatever he saw, but doesn't see a thing.
"Oh well. I suppose I will go purchase one of those safari balls then. May as well see if I can increase the amount of pokemon I have. It is part of being a pokemon trainer, if I remember right."
Steve goes off to see about those safari balls.

You find the office and find out it is 500 pokedollars for 30 pokeballs. You can use the store credits you have.

Steve looks at the pokeballs, and their pricing.
"Wow! So much. Though, the number of these balls received isn't so bad. I'll take one bundle of them."
Steve pays for the pokeballs, and heads off to try to catch something.

They first explain all the rules ((Posted in the OoC)), make sure you are still sure, then hand you the pokeballs and a timer. "The timer will start apon entering the gates there." They point. "You must stop once the timer reaches zero. Any pokemon caught are yours to keep."
Now..back to Jeremy.
The cat creature stirs a little, but just barely. It is alive, but it doesn't look in too good a shape. The scientist makes the mistake of speaking up. "You don't know what you are doing. These experiments are very important. You must not interrupt them!"
Cubone is about to show him exactly what it thinks of his 'experiments' when two big black orbs come through another door, followed by a smaller one. "ABOUT TIME." excliams the Scientist. "Stop them!"

Steve feels unsure about this, but decides he best attempt it anyway. A new experience lies ahead. Even if it is somewhat strange.

As Steve enters the gate the timer starts. There are tons of pokemon around, but plenty of trainers also. He first sights a poliwhirl, but 3 pokeballs later it skips off, and he looses track of it.
Not long after a Honchcrow is not so lucky. First pokeball out, it is sucked into the pokeball. Steve has captured a Honchcrow!
He keeps seeing the black and yellow pokemon, but it stays just out of full view. Eventually Steve has captured 3 total pokemon (Honchcrow, Treecko, Bellsprout). He only has about a minute left and 3 pokeballs.
Just then he finally manages to see the pokemon. It is a very shy Elekid. What it is doing in a safari zone is a complete mystery. He has seen a ton of pokemon, but no elekids! It seems startled that he has seen it.

"LIGHT BALL GO!!!" Yari screamed as she threw the silverish ball towards the now unchained pokemon, in a sort of forward running motion. Abra clinged on her back and complained about how hard it was to stay awake while she moved that much, but she ran over to the villan and launched a punch against his face before teleporting back to where she threw the ball from.

“Umumum…” Jeremy panicked at finding himself so badly overwhelmed in a situation he didn’t really want to be in in the first place. He improvised hesitantly. “Do—do that thing with the smoke again!”
Aduro peeped once and spewed her Smokescreen everywhere. Jeremy dashed in under cover of the smoke and awkwardly heaved up the cat-thing into his arms, and ran—or tried to, it was much more awkward burdened this way—out the door.
“Come on!” he called back frantically to Cubone.
The Ground type huffed, hopped off the scientist and slammed her club into the man’s other knee for good measure before trundling after Jeremy as fast as her short little legs could carry her.

Steve notices the elekid's shyness. He sits down on the ground, and grabs some of the food he was to use in the zone, offering the food to the pokemon.

The body is still there. He calls in some friends of his on the force, and they cart the body off to safety. "Dang, no medallion. Without it, will be hard to prove. Looks like the elements really got to her. Well you still have done a great thing. I don't know how we ever can repay you."
Yari
The pokemon is free of his control, and you catch him totally off guard. He yells out in pain, and curses at you. He is about to vent his anger at the nearest target (Growlithe) when the pokemon he was controlling looms over him. He gets very pale, and lifts up a walkie talkie. "I need an evac NOW. SMOKESCREEN." the area is filled with smoke, and by the time you can see he and his dark orb pokemons are gone. The strange pokemon remains a second, lets out a gentle but potent roar as if to say thank you..and flies up into the sky fading off into the distance.
Jeremy
You make it out of there in one peice, the smokescreen preventing pursuit. As soon as you are clear the cat creature says ((In perfect 'human english')) "We .. must .. go .. back. There...are .. others...but he will .. be ready.."
Steve
As the minutes tick down it almost seems as if the Elekid is too hesitant..but it slowly comes up and starts nibbling on the food.

“Nuh-uh, we’re gonna take you to the hospital and call for help,” Jeremy replied, trying to remember the way back to the Pokemon Center. Why oh why hadn’t he paid more attention when he followed Aduro out here in the first place??? “Then we can—wait, you can talk?” Jeremy stopped dead in his tracks to look at the Pokemon in his arms.

"Great! Just what we need to put the mayor behind bars where he deserves to be. Thank you again."
About that time you notice Jeremy being led into town by his Cubone holding a very injured looking creature.
Jeremy
Luckily your Cubone was paying attention, and leads you into town. The feline responds. "Yes.." it coughs "I am one of the few who can. Please, the things he is doing to those poor little ones..we must hurry." You see the pokecenter up ahead, but the creature seems to be getting a bit better already. Maybe it has to do with the sunlight, or just because it is out of that horrible place.

Jeremy made it the rest of the way to the Pokemon Center without further comment. He pushed through the front door (Aduro vanished into her Pokeball) and hurried up to the front desk.
“Nurse!” he called, a plaintive note in his voice. “My friend is hurt,” he continued when the nurse appeared, sliding the cat creature awkwardly onto the desk. “Can you make it better?”

As Derek walks away from the grateful man he decides to see what is up with Jeremy... he hasn't seen Jeremy in a while...
Derek follow Jeremy into the Pokemon center and sees him talk to the nurse.
"Hi jeremy."

Jeremy spun in place, startled. “Oh hi! You’re…Derek?” Jeremy hesitated for a second and his gaze dove down to Cubone, who nodded. Jeremy’s expression turned worried and very upset.
“Please help! There’s a bad man in the lighthouse and he’s hurting Pokemon and he tried to kill the kitty and—OW!”
Jeremy cut off abruptly as Cubone whacked his foot with her club. (Slow down, and give him a chance to get a word in edgewise!)

((Will continue with Jeremy when Derek and Jeremy say to )).
Steve - The elekid sits next to you eating the food, keeping one eye on you..the timer is running down. There is not much time left. The Elekid munches happily on the food, and starts just chatting up a storm. For the first part of it of course you don't have a clue what it is on about. Eventually the pokedex beeps and you hear "Elekid Translation complete".
(...but its ok, I like it here well enough I guess. They don't have any other of my kind..so I don't have many friends, but they feed us good, and it can be fun to try to outsmart people. Mmm this food is good, you know your time is running out...might want to do something about that...) It keeps rambling about absolutely nothing. It sure likes to talk.
