Steve looks on, as the orbs just fall, and one breaks apart. "Um, are pokemon supposed to do that? Did we kill them? I did not mean to! I did not mean to!"
Steve rushes over to the fallen orbs, trying to check on them.
Elekid stares at her new trainer, in wonder. "I do not think that was a..."
"No?" Steve interrupts. "Just a machine?"
"I am not sure, but I think so. It seems that way."
Steve is a little relieved to hear this, but he, himself, is not as sure. He turns back, and recalls his pokemon.
"How would machines have those attacks anyway? I suppose it does not matter. I am not positive of how pokemon have their attacks either. Whatever the case, we may be able to check out what is inside this lighthouse now. You ready?"

“Can’t we go home?” Jeremy asked plaintively, still cradling his Ground type and once again filming his feet. Aduro fluttered over and perched on his shoulder, looking tired, but cheeping in a way that suggested ‘no, remember?’ She strained toward the lighthouse, just a little.
“Oh, right…that bad scientist guy…I guess we gotta keep going then, huh?” he sounded entirely unenthused, and cradled Cubone a little closer.
But Steve poking around in the mechanical Pokemon’s innards piqued his interest; he leaned over to look and even felt enough interest to start filming them briefly until Aduro cheeped pointedly in his ear.
“Okay, I guess we can go now.”

Steve leads the way into the lighthouse. Each step is hesitant, for fear of having a big, giant pokemon, or the like, dropping itself from the ceiling, to do battle. Looking around, though, nothing was immediately seen. He continued on.
"H-h-hello! Is anyone...or thing here?"

Well it is pretty quiet, but it is not exactly what you would find in the average place. It has labratory equipment everywhere, pokemon trapped in cages (some out cold), and you notice that there are two huddled together. It is a Plusle and a Minun. You see the scientist bent over a cat creature that looks like it is on it's last legs. He appears not to have heard you or the commotion outside at all.

((I’m going to assume this is the same guy Jeremy encountered back here. Is it the same type of Pokemon he rescued?))
Jeremy, seeing the scientist his Pokemon had more-or-less assaulted earlier, squeaked and hid behind Steve, though he peered over the latter’s shoulder with Harriet—still filming.

Steve almost can't believe the sight. All these pokemon, trapped up in this place, and not in the most happy of conditions. Sure, he came for Ester and Easter, but they all had to be freed. He took another step, and then noticed the other man in the room. He didn't seem to be anything too friendly to a feline. It had to be Melvin. He reached for Vi's pokeball, and called her out.
"Vi, get him with that string shot of yours!"
He took a step back afterward, knocking into Jeremy, just enough to jostle his camera shot.

Vi's stringshot is right on target, and catches the guy by suprise. He struggles to get out of the sticky substance, but even with a single use it would take some time for him to work free. "What is the meaning of this!"
Now that he is basically out of the way, you notice that the feline is a Meowth and it is hooked up to some weird looking machine that reads. "Pokemon Move Analyzer" At the top of the machine is one of those black orbs, but it seems dormant. It is almost as if the Analyzer is feeding the moves to the orb.

Steve steps to the side, and makes sure Jeremy is fine, then turns his attention back to Melvin.
"You are using that thing to copy pokemon moves into those machines? Why? For that Infinitus team? Is that it? Do the pokemon mean nothing to you? Vi, make sure he is secure. Hit him with another string shot."
Steve rushes over to the machine, and attempts to get the Meowth out.

"You know nothing. These machines are going to save countless pokemon!" with the second string shot he is quite soundly secure. "Once they are up and running, pokemon will never again have to be forced to fight each other. The so called 'pokemon masters' can use the machines to fight instead! Think of it, no more making pokemon faint, no more having to rush them to the poke center. Yes, my experiments caused pain for a few pokemon, but in the end..it will save countless pokemon pain."
You manage to get Meowth disconnected. "No matter," he continues. "I am not the only one working on this. Stopping this experiment will not stop Team Infinitus from creating their newest and greatest achievement. S.A.V.S. The Self Adapting Void Sphere. Then, Mr. I will put a stop to the threat that is the exterterrestrial pokemon once and for all!" The guy is obviously slightly insane.

Steve didn't actually expect any answer from Melvin. He just helped Meowth down to the floor.
"Now, where are the keys to open those cages? Or do we have to break those pokemon out of them?"
Steve starts searching around for some keys.

Well of course he isn't going to tell you that. The place is a bit of a mess also, finding them will be difficult. Who knows what is just laying around.

Jeremy re-adjusted Harriet’s lens to compensate for the bump and edged nervously around the scientist. He turned the camera this way and that, filming around him. The whole place felt very oppressive; the reporter-in-training had to remind himself to keep up his monologue, and even then it came out in barely more than a whisper. The only exceptions were when a particularly injured Pokemon would catch his eye and startle out comments like “oh!” and “you poor thing!”
Aduro seemed to have pulled together a few crumbs of courage and was climbing around the cages examining the Pokemon inside, occasionally making tentative peeps at them.

A peice of paper with a sideways 8 on it..and it mentions a 'Juxton' region. Which you've never heard of.

The neverending steam of musik for the pokegear was not so infinite, it was gotten tiresome to listen too. Just in the nack of time she spooted the old geezer, who had ran past her somehow.
The old man was sitting there ready for something with a chess board with shogi pieces on it, and like out of a classic there was just 1 line to deliver: "Eh geezer? You know that death plays chess and not shogi? Lucky for you i got some pieces for the board."
He responded: "Ehm, what?"
The response to his ability to not listen was to throw the pieces contained in a small piece of leather decently stringed up, and shouting: "Death! CHESS! "NOT SHOGI!""

Steve places the items in his bag, planning on checking out what they actually are, and split them up, after they get through with this place. He takes the keys in hand, and start unlocking some of the cages. About 60% through the total of them, he gets to Plusle and Minun's cage.

After all the cages are unlocked, Steve turns to the freed pokemon.
"Alright. You are all free now. Is there an Ester and Easter among you though? I was asked to find them."

The guy was beyond saving, he did not grasp there was a small piece of pounce with chess pieces in it, it flew and hit him between the eyes. He was shocked and then fell over backwards.
"Hahahahahahahah" I fell over in laugther, he had tipped over along with some of the items on his persona. It looked freaking silly.
Once I had managed to recover from laughing, after a few *hum's* from the geezer himself whos head was now covered in greesish tones, I said polite: "Mt. Moon sir green."
