Quote: Sorry, can't help you. But the music is just great. The only thing (imo) in Heroes 4 that is greater then Heroes 3 is the music. If you liked H3 music - you may also like H4 music.
p.s. I like Necropolis theme the most.
??????? the music in those games are nothing alike at all.

I tried to make individual music for every town. So assume the town "Claxton". If there is a file "Claxton.mp3" then each time when opening Claxton town screen, play that music instead of the standard one. there are many great pieces out there, like f.ex. the WoG theme, which is from Vangelis, the "El Greco" album.
The problem is, if opening the town screen without a hero visiting the town i have no reliable way to get towns name. So for now i abandoned that. If anyone has an idea how to reliably check town namke regardless of how the town was opened...
Another idea: Battle music. Play a hero specific music in battle. So if there is any "Adela.mp3", then play that as the battle music, if Adela is the higher level hero. If equal levels, take the attacking for field battles and the defending for siege battle. That could be implemented easier. Would that be a nice idea?
I'd implement that in a !?BF trigger.

I got HoMM:3 SoD When I was 9, it was in 2001. I played it a lot for a year, but then my computer broke. I got a new PC in 2007. I bought HoMM:3 complete only last year, and then I played heroes once again after a long brake and the music sounds so nostalgic, love it.
