Mate you have no idea how to do proper research or experiments.
The difference in time periods nullifies the whole thing. Why didn't you try to make another 188cm guy and see if he gets the same response as the first one (at the exact same time you made the 170cm guy)?
But why the hell not them both at the same time in the first place?
Difference in height can be annoying though. I dunno if 30cm is too much, I think it is a fair lot

See? It works both ways. 
But, I didn't come here to start a fight. I'll answer that question for you:
Celf said he's 69 inches tall. That's 5 feet and 9 inches tall (which is 2 inches more than me).
The conversion rate is 1 inch = 2.54 centimeters
So Celf is about 175cm tall (give or take the decimal places)
So there you have it.

You're kidding I even have a program that converts among the most popular units, not just length/size/metrics but also weight, temperature, whatever.
Instead of complaining about inches and feet why don't you make an effort and find out the conversion or just use an automated program?
Some guys here are tall lol, I remember me being the tallest in school and I'm 186, or so I was a while back (some years ago), didn't measure myself in a very long time, though I'm probably around there. Wasn't always a 'good' experience especially when talking to small people, to be honest. (although I like height but for practical reasons mind you, not for machismo).

I'm 5'10, 178. In America that's pretty much exactly male average, so I don't really stand out much in terms of height; (I stand out in other ways ).
When I went to Thailand, I noticed an extreme height disparity.
In Thailand, there are almost no Americans. There are plenty of northern Europeans (Nordmenn, Svenskar, Deutsche...). I have no idea why, but apparently they like it there.
Thais are not very tall people (5'6 168), and N. Euros are very tall people (6'2 185). Everywhere I went, I towered over the Thais but was dwarfed by the N. Euros. It felt very strange. I wonder how the Thais and N. Euros felt... ?

I am 182.88 CM, if I go looking for taller...not going to find very many. Honestly, height makes no difference to me. In fact I've dated girls taller and girls shorter. One I dated was a whopping 6'6" naturally, and another was 5'5". It's all good.

I think this is more about women finding higher guys more attractive than smaller ones. And usually it's the same vice versa for men. Weren't you into taller men when you were still a women?

I wasn't ever into men (no offense guys). However, no, height was the last thing I worried about. Maybe because I was always the more masculine in my relationships. Still I've had relationships with taller women even then.

That's not what I think but what many people, especially girls, say over and over.
I've heard that women look for taller men in search of safety and protection. It makes enough sense for me, but would like to hear an opinion of some lady in this matter 
Personally I don't care about height of girls, but on the other hand I'm aware I belong to minority. It's obvious that since men and women are different height, they tend to look for this natural proportion in relationship. If woman is higer than man, one of them must be somehwat unusual. This is just what instincts says and statistics confirm.
BTW, recently I met wonderful, charming and willng girl, however she is 1.90 tall. Not like I object, but I can imagine it would look strange if we were walking down the street by the hand.

Well, 176 is a runt to me; Most of my friends are taller by a large lot. I'd say 180 is minimum for European man to feel decent; 188 being considered "perfect" by most women; 190+ and above starting to feel over the edge.
Could've been worse ofc, I could've been 160 cm tall or so. Still, it's annoying
And yes, I wouldn't date a girl taller than me. 170cm is the limit to a woman's height for me, beyond that I feel like a total runt next to her

I don't particular care much about height, but I'm not attracted to any girl who's taller than me. It's not much of a problem, because I'm taller than the average girl.
I care more about shape of face. Very pointy faces are no good for me, I need rounded faces. Sorry.

I think it has something to do with that a taller height emits a stronger sense of mesculinity, strength, and in turn, safety.
From a "submissive" gay-point of view, taller men are attractive. Name me one woman who doesn't enjoy snuggling up safely against a bigger frame Not implying all women are submissive mind you, but women preferring shorter men isn't very common.
Still I personally define it with my submissive and dominant desires. If I want to be protected, I find I prefer a taller partner. If I want to be the one protecting, I find I prefer a smaller partner. *nods*
But I'm not sure if that is the underlying reason for others too.
Perhaps it has something to do with it feeling natural since the average male is taller than the average female, but that argument is silly.

I agree btw with Death your experiment is a bit silly. Just how long did you see how many messages you got with the 188 cm one ? You based it only on 2 days with the 1m70 one.
And a good reason could be if the site has some sort of search definitions that allow you to fill in height. If girls are looking for tall guys I'd imagine they searched on 179 - 190 orso, therefor not even coming across the profile.

I disagree. Petite is fun. I can easily pick up any of the ones I am currently with. Soooo small and yummy. Big is sexy too though...you know the only height I never really liked was even? Don't know why either. Most of my relationships have been with smaller females however (simply because I am rather tall). So not all women like taller companions.

Could that be another reason? Taller = sexy and smaller = cute? And it depends on what you're after that you pefer? I'm not sure really. But as I said whatever is hypothesed shouldn't be generalized There are always exceptions.

As for your theory I think you are correct. I find petite cute/cuddly. Bigger is sexy and strong. I do like a girl that can stand toe to toe with me and argue. Makes making up REAL fun.
