Lego HoMM contest
The Rules of this contest are:
1. Make a faction fitting the bimonthly theme.
2. Illustrate your faction using photos of legos
3. You may not use more than 5 units already used in HoMM 1-5
4. All units must have a lego illustration (or aproved electronic-lego program, such as the ldd)
5. No copying from other threads.
6. Extra points will be given for creative Ideas
7. No other materials are allowed(e.g.clay, Mega-Blox, Duplos)
8. The contest is king of the hill style

That's too arduous. Who bothers to build something of legos, take numerous shots of it and put them on the net...

I'm sorry, but that one is illegal. ldraw allows users to creat thier own bricks, so I can't guarantee that it's all original lego, interfering with rule #7. Sorry

So you're going to limit us (I don't include myself in this, I don't have the time at the moment) to a builder which has not 1/10 th parts available, because you feel that someone is going to bother spending time creating their own components which would probably be easier to create using pre-existing parts? Genius, pure genius.

Sounds like a good reason to dig up my old LEGO's. And, do we have to do units, or can we do Heroes, buildings or anything like that?

You have to have at least the units, but any additional thing (e.g. heroes or buildings) will give you additional points in accordance with rule #6.

no. I am not limiting you to that builder. If you want to use the other parts, there are real plastic bricks you can buy at almost every toy store in America. My only limitation is that it has to be lego or the one approved e-lego program.

Yeah, I don't think I can do this, my old collection of mini-figures suddenly went missing. Kind of depressing, since I've had most of them since before I could walk.
