I am really sorry to all the muslims...I have just been informed that a police-man in my country(Greece) has destroyed the holy book(Korani) of a muslim immigrant...I am ashamed...I am really sorry...

It's not what has been destroyed but the action...It's idiotic to destroy a book(any book) and especially a "holy book" as people consider it something devine...and as far as I know muslims are a little too religious...

Aw come on the gesture is very comendable . Eventhough you have nothing to feel guilty for Kesnar and you should know that. Just because he was Greek isn't a reason (for a normal semi-civilised human) to generalize.

Okay, stop playing stupid. Regardless of whether it's the same as destroying any other private property in the eyes of the law (it might be different in Greece), it's obvious stuff like this can carry larger consequences.

yes the police destroying private proerty is wrong, just a stupid book of stupid people, europes is sick of muslims coming from hellhole to turn their own coutries into hrllo hole as well. muslims dont like freedom is their enemy asi it is to any religion, especially monotheist rubbish

smvuy you sould not talk like that, I don't know how it's handled here, but that could be considered a serious insult. And allthouhg I#m not religious and very far from being monotheistic and even more far from being muslim, what you said is nonsense.
on th ewhole discussion there is not much too say any more, no reason too feel ashamed for something you haven't done, better feel angry and show it the politicians, that could maybe change something!

I don't feel immigrants should be obligated to absorb into their new countries culture. As long as they obey the law of the land, it should be no concern for the state how they live their life. Although perhaps the state should be more selective on which immigrants they let in to begin with. I feel it's already too late for several European countries considering the very high birthrates of the Muslims compared to the extremely low birthrates of the natives. You need slightly more than a 2.0 birthrate to sustain your own culture, and the native average is at 1.5 or lower in a lot of countries.

What the? you sound so racistic right now. to me it sounds like you are saying muslims are terrorists. you really should consider what you say here, people will take badly to this. I'm not forbidding you to think like you do, but in this case it's the best to keep it to yourself otherwise people will get really angry on you. and you'll probably be penalized and silenced for that post.

Guys to understand what happened...
The police-idiot destroyed the koran and yesterday there was a big demonstration in the centre of Athens with both muslim immigrants/greeks and generally greeks.
I learned that today as I have exams this period and I don't watch the news much...
Anyway...
I believe that everyone has the right to believe what he wants and to live...I can't understand why some of you are so narrow-minded and think that immigrants are bad...this land is not yours...it's just a land where everyone has the right to exist...

a bit offtopic again, but it's hard, and imo dangerous, to let such thing sjust stay for themselves.
smvuy, you may have any opinion you do, and i do not want to (pre-)judge you, but you're being slightly agressive in this thread. as for the video: I did not understand everything (I'm not native English-speaking and there were no subtitles, also I found it hard to listen to that guy) but it seems to be one of those half-right-ideals-pladoyer. I'Ve heard such opinions too often and they are too close to the right/racistic side for me. AND it has NOTHING to do with normal muslims!!! That guy (the one the talking guy talks about!) is an islamist! It's the same as if you would call any patriot (I'm not one either^^) a nationalist!

Some micro-scale bad cop gossips are not international matter imo. They're more like tabloid stories.
And there certainly isn't a need to feel sorry for muslims, because majority of them don't care a rat's ass. Just because we have experiences of fanatics that have been muslims doesn't mean that they all overreact on matters that are disrespectful against their religion.

Thhose muslims come from countries where being yourself is blasphemous either monarchies ot dictatorships, second christianism has been softened in order to survive, beacuse in the era of illustration it was under heavy fire (french revolution Napoleon and such) but the islam never had to face a stage of heavy criticism in their history, that is why they are as medieval as in their first years.
The cops are not known for being softies, that is why they took that job in the first place. Greece was under muslim control by the Ottoman Empire for centuries, they are not exactly friends each other.
As i said before in all over europe they are seen as scum as a whole for a very good reason, they are agressive primitive and cannot take a criticism. I have family in france and they hat muslims inmigrants, not muslims at all.
