I'd also say they were bordering on blue. But the lower leg looks a bit purplish, so it's probably the lighting.

I wear a similiary colored overalls in work. And those look more like dark blue than purple.

it's not like I'm working at a public space where everyone can see them. but yea the color is kinda stupid. It is beyond me why they didn't go with a classice green or blue.

Yes/No Question where the answer is not no, and not yes.
In stead, I'd like to say I still can't see them, then I can't, but I'm not on any typical browser, so if your files have usual image extensions (e.g. jpg/jpeg, png, bmg, etc.) then they should be fine.

I have next to no idea how google mail works, but here's my guess.
You mailed the images to yourself, they only exist on your e-mail, hence even if you linked the images properly, it still requires some kind of authentication to read those files. Otherwise your images would be open to the world (which incidentally is what you wish for). But how should your e-mail know this? Some e-mails allows you to make e.g. images public, but they often also require you to share those images on their fora. Alternatively, if you are against that practice, you'll have to upload the images. I think it's a luxury that we can upload images from our computer without having our own web page to pay for in the process. Heck we don't even need to know about html coding really.

Yeah with Imgur you can just open the website and drop the all the images right on to the screen to upload them, takes 2 secs.
