Actually, my vision of Super Granny is completely different. She would be low, fat, have glasses, and her weapons would be a gun that shoots pruen juice, and another one that shoots porrige, and if she gets in real trouble, she can just whistle, and her 19 cats will come and attack whatever she is facing

Top 10 Villians
1) Lex Luthor - Like Batman, in a world where people have all sorts of crazy powers he uses his intelligence.
2) Magneto - Not only does he have Crazy powers, and is smart, he is doing what HE thinks is best. Even if that is a bit on the deluded side.
3) Joker - Crazy, demented, no powers, did I forget Crazy? Just for the record I believe that Jack's Joker kicked Heath's Joker's hinny.
4)Gorilla Grod - Come on a talking ape that is smarter then most humans?
5) Mystique - Attractive, Deadly, limber (I mean agility wise..), and can be anybody.
6) Mumra - Technically NOT a super villian but he had ancient forces of evil at his beck and call. He also went from an old decrepit man to somebody physically fit.
7 - 8 - 9 - 10) The Four Horseman of Apocolypse. Its sad when the 'underlings' are more interesting then the main bad guy.
Villians who did not impress me, but should have
Galactus - Cosmic entity with near unlimited power, but the personality of a peice of wood. Even Mr. Freeze who supposedly had no emotions was more interesting.
Apocolypse - Crazy powerful, but suffers the Galctus Effect (No personality).
Zod - All of superman's power, evil, and as interesting as watching paint dry..in slow motion.
Top 10 Superheroes
1) Superman -Still the best after all of these years. It maybe just that he always goes against the more interesting villians, or his supporting cast, or whatever..he is STILL the man.
2) Batman - For the same reason Lex is No.1 in supervillians, bats is no.2 in superheroes. He is the worlds second greatest dectective.
3) Professor X - Perhaps one of the strongest mutants ever, he uses his vast powers for good, and is pretty darn smart too.
4) Jean Grey - Red Hair, extrodinary powers, what isn't to love.
5) ((X-men have a lot of these, interesting)) Wolverine - THE MAN'S MAN. He can chew metal and spit out nails..(Ok not really, but he SEEMS like he can).
6) Spider man - the 'every man' superhero..if every man had been bitten by a radioactive spider.
7) Storm - Probably should be higher on the list. Love her powers, her look, her attitude, and the fact that when she gets angry bad guys get a lesson. "What happens when toads get struck by lightning? Same thing that happens to everything else."
8) Dr. Strange - Magic! Yeah Baby!
9) Ghost Rider - How does a relitively boring superhero, with relatively boring enemies make the list. Purely because of his bike.
10) Hulk - Not because of the hulk however, because of Banner his alter ego. Tore apart by the rage he must try to control, driven by demons, and conflicted.
Heroes that just seem .. meh.
Flash - Take away supes flying, strength, involnerbility, x-ray vision, heat vision, super breath, super smarts..and make him a smart alec punk..no an egotistical smart alec punk.
Green Lantern - Probably not a popular thing to say, but though the activation is cool.. "In brightest day, in darkest night..no evil will escape my sight. Let those who worships evil's might, beware my power, green lanter's light!" just never got into Lantern.
Hawkman - Woohoo he flies. Though Hawkgirl could warm my nest .. I mean yeah..
There are a lot of decent, even great heroes and villians that didn't make the list. Some probably should be on the list in place of others, ask me tommorrow I might have two totally different lists..however, for today those are my lists.

Yeah, Galactus is supposed to be the Old Testament God... beyond reproach. Later they turned him into a force of nature, keeping in check such cosmic scourges as Celestials, Abraxas, Eternity and Death.

to be completely off topic, has anyone heard of Top Ten?
as a heads up, I thoroughly recommend reading it, its fun, it witty, its deep, it's what you would expect from Alan Moore.
for those who have read it, isn't caeser awesome?

Loved it. Most of Alan Moore's books are a must read, not just "Watchmen". "Supreme" is the proof he can write anything. Been rereading his "Promethea" this week! For those who are not familiar with the name, Moore is the guy who also wrote "V for Vendetta", "From Hell" and "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" (the movies were not great, I know).

Read watchmen and V for vendetta, found them an excellent read. Though league of extraordinary gentlemen was more of a cameo kind of comic, something you'd enjoy more if you have done your research on the characters. Mine was superficial so I missed some nice references.

yeah, league of extraodinary gentlemen is the kind of series where you need an encyclopedia of famous victorians on your lap whilst you read.
