How sad to see once great America being destroyed this way.
Think on this people.
We are at war, whether you know it or not.
This war isn't like prior wars but is done through propaganda and ideological subversion.

Still, where there's life there's hope they say.
God help you, America.

One day soon, reality will bite you on the butt.
Then maybe you'll understand ... if you still exist.
Reality is a great educator when it's not fatal.

Bye and goood luck; we'll all need it.

A tw party system is better than a six party system, because it's one vs one. It's not that othe rparties gang up on others, like in some other country that is left without a government for years...

Think hard about which country I mean. *points subtly at himself*

We got a ridicules amount of politic parties over here(Norway), what is comforting is they they are mostly over the political line in all places. I think we Norwegians  got about 15 parties, which narrowed down gets down to about 4-7 coalitions which equals 4-7 real parties.
The last 4 years, the country elected the wrong government. The politicians has done little, too little. At the least they are not burning the country, which do not happen anyway unless we elected a extreme wing(right or left anyway).

A 6 party system is a lot better than a 2 party system, since the placement in the political scale actually can change.

As much as I'd like to see that happen, I think it'd be hard for Americans to become excited about an issue as "boring" as debt. When people are looking for a free lunch (universal health care, trade protections, etc.) they're not going to see the problems that their desires are causing.

Actually, a multiparty system is better than two parties, because people's viewpoints actually get represented. The problem in many parliamentary systems is that the government has to resign and call a new election when it's outvoted. It shouldn't have to.

Well, I'm biased, because Belgium is a mess through the parties forming and deforming coalitions and grabbing at eachother's throats in recent years. If there were just two parties, then the party with the most votes would win and there wouldn't be this big... Mess...
Of course, the fact that we're a constitutional monarchy doesn't help...

In theory.

But check out what happens in practice.

Here in Serbia, there's a living shyteload of political parties; jokes go around about how there's more of them than voters.

So there's these elections, right. There are two main parties - the democrats and the right-wing radicals.

You naturally, if there's any sense in you, vote for the democrats.
And after you voted, they decide to make an alliance with the Socialist Party (ex-Milosevic's one) which has its own small but notable share of voters, and form a government with them.

What the giraffe?! We voted for democracy, not for Milosevic's bloody party. And now we get socialists (with, like, 5% of voters) holding important positions while the radicals (which I dislike but they do have some 30% of votes) having nothing.

True story, happened during the last elections here.

See, that's politics. Representation of the people's viewpoints? Come on. People toss your vote around as if it's a coin.

With two parties, at least you know who's against who.

Bak:
The reason they're making these coalitions is because of a fundamental flaw in the parliamentary system (by "parliamentary", I mean as opposed to the way the US Congress functions). In the US Congress, if the majority party fails to pass a bill (say, due to the revolt of its members), nothing happens - the bill just doesn't pass. In a parliamentary system, though, the whole government must resign and call a new election. If there is a multi-party system, the likelihood of such an event is greatly increased, since one party may not have >50% of the seats. That's why they make coalitions that the voters don't really want - all involved give something up to get legislation passed instead of spending all their time on the campaign trail.

Of course, the solution is to say, "You lost one vote? Who cares. You're still the biggest party in parliament. Deal with it. No election for you!"

I agree with my compatriot Mike. In order to preserve democracy and other beautiful things our country has invented, we need to get rid of all the democrats.

Communists have ruled our country for too long with their "freedom of speech" and their "constitutional rights". First they abolish slavery, now they make fun of Sarah Palin... What's next, a black president?!

I hope they get sent to hell along with all the Jews.

What the ****?

Good grief, where to begin?
First of all, Baklava, it was not the Democrats who abolished slavery but the Republicans.
Democrats were PRO slavery, not against it.
"Drenched in blood of slavery"

Guess who founded the Klu Klux Klan; yep, Democrats.

Communists are not for freedom of speech but against freedom of speech and dissent; what do you think those Siberian gulags were all about in Russia?

Everything about the Left is a lie.
Where to begin with Obama? Yes he is black. So what.
What concerns me is not his color but his policies.
He sides with every evil in the world and works to destroy the traditional values of America and everything good.

Oh yes, you had to throw the Jews in there as well, didn't you.
Good grief, is there no limit to your ignorance and bigotry.
There is no point in talking to you as you have obviously been completely brainwashed by the communist controlled media and education systems, although perhaps this quote is relevant:
"In a March 31, 1977 interview with the Amsterdam-based newspaper Dagblad de Verdieping Trouw, PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhse’in said:

'The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism. For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan.'

This is the truth which the useful idiots of the west completely fail to grasp - that the whole ‘Palestinian state’ grievance is a cynical fabrication, used by genocidal Arab regimes as a proxy for a conventional war of annihilation against Israel".

China is no longer Communist. It holds on to its communist symbols to placate the older generation.
Have you ever talked to someone who grew up in a communist country, and wasn't the child of some important party leader? I don't think you have.
