Pretty sure you need to have selected the chi-warrior feat to block ranged attacks

You're not a pacifist. You're a genocidal bigot. You have -4 AC against ranged attacks because it arouses you and inhibits your dodging.

You (plural) keep saying that over and over again... the answer is "boring" not "annoyed"

Saddam wasn't killed because he was a threat for america, but because he was a threat for this whole asian/arabic region (Kuwait!), and a big threat for most of his folks.
And of course because if he would have had WMD, he would have been a threat for Israel aswell...and this a thing which always rings a bell in the White House..

Yea, he wasn't convicted because he was a threat to America. He wasn't convicted of a "threat" at all. He was convicted of crimes he committed. Specifically he was convicted of crimes against humanity.

To the best of my knowledge that's the highest possible crime there is. It's a higher crime than war crimes. Gassing his own people is just one thing he did. That might be a war crime, but even the most hideous crimes will not get a conviction for crimes against humanity. Crimes against humanity requires an ongoing repeated pattern of high crimes.

Xerdux, I don't know what you read that made him seem like a "really nice guy", but that's far from the truth. I don't consider the systematic murder, rape and hard core torture of hundreds of thousands of people being a "nice guy".

Maybe I quote your own lines for you again:

Yes that's correct. You think the americans ended the war in Europe?
I'm not gonna get into a debate like that, but that was my point by the way. They didn't even ENTER the war until Japan attacked them.

USA may get the recognition for ending the war with Japan, but I won't vote for it for ending the war in Europe. As always, it tries to steal all the glory, as if the others did nothing. (Russia and UK mainly).

You're kidding, right?  I guess the invasion of Normandy never happened.  It wasn't a unilateral effort, sure, but to discount the US presence in the western front is just ludicrous.

We'd all be speaking German if it wasn't for the Soviets either. That doesn't make Stalin a good guy.

Not comparing. Just pointing out that participation in a war that a country is dragged into anyway (both the USSR and the USA only attacked the Axis after the Axis attacked them) doesn't necessarily say anything about a country. They were fighting for their own survival and interests.

After the war, Francisco Franco (the fascist dictator that ruled Spain) was regarded as a friend of the USA. The first guy to tell me why Franco was a good guy and Saddam a bad guy gets a cookie.

Death:
Don't forget about "cash and carry" and "lend-lease" - the Soviets used a significant amount of American equipment to fight. Plus (IIRC) it was mostly Americans who fought on the Italian front - not to mention their important role in the Western Front along with the British.

Yes. It's the principle of blowback. The same thing happened when the U.S. wrongfully entered WWI at the behest of Britain and France's whining. The massive topple in the worthless bloodbath that the U.S. should have ignored gave the winning side the leverage to make the Treaty of Versailles so exploitative and one-sided, which directly led to WWII, and it also lead to Britain and France carving up the M.E., which is massively responsible for the dissent that continues to exist in the region.

Irregardless of all of that, even if the U.S. never went to Iraq, it doesn't change the fact that Saddam was a bad person.
