Multiplayer Timeout (TCP/IP-Game)
I bet this issue has been on the table more than Mighty Gorgons and The Slow-spell, but since i'm rather useless when it comes to scim and scan the various search-hits i get, i'll just make another thread for (hopefully) quick answers/suggestions:
Playing HoMM3 Using hamachi. Everything works great, we find eachothers by typing in the IP;adress (The hamachi-ip ofc) and the game launches. But then the annoying soundeffect occurs, the one when a player leaves, and it's a timeout and the connection between us is lost. This happends ALL THE TIME, and it's between the first turn > 15:th turn, so it's very early in the game as well.
And since i know the other player doesn't leave, this is very annoying. Anyone have any suggestions to why this timeout/drop happends?

I had similar problems playing with my friend due to different homm versions. When I have ensured that versions are identical we could normally play over hamachi. Hope this helps.

Try to play through Gameranger instead of hamachi.

It's the same version of the game, but that could've been the issue.
Thanks, will try Gameranger!
