Do you like hotseat matches
I do but i only have 1 friend who wants to play Heroes with me cuz my other friends are more Xbox360 oriented and into shooters
and he is an ultra noob since he only played heroes at my house(4 then 5 and now we play). he is 12 so its kind of hard to make him think strategily and needs help whenever its his turn.
even though he sucks magorly its still fun
i remember my older bro who had like 5 friends over and then they kicked me out of his room cuz they played heroes(and probably looked at prons)
so do you like hotseat matches

I like hotseat, but i prefer regular LAN over Hotseat - gathering around 1 mousepad & 1 screen is annoying after 45 min - 2h

All sense in playing hotseat is not showing all you are the best, but having fun to play with your buddy, talking about heroes, drinking beer. 
Hot seat playing like playing bowling with your friends. It's not the bowling world champ.

I only use Hotseat for practice. For Games like Heroes I would prefer On-line play tho-
Depends on the game though - I really enjoy to play Civ against my father on Hotseat, but don't like to when playing H5 (Im' decent and he's dreadfull, so it's not really exciting )

I remember playing hotseat once, when there was no i-net, the clubs with network were expensive and PCs too. So we used to gather at lan parties and play HoMM2 and later HoMM3, but HoMM3 was too heavy on the PC - hahah, it also had a bug where the game crushed after 3 months : ), so we preferred HoMM2. : )

Really enojoyed it on allied maps. I spent all my f.. childhood playing hot-seat just turning away on somebody else´s turn with nothing to do...simply wasting time. Ahhh...the golden years...
