No more MTGO for me
usually I played 5 games a day online. Not because I want to play 5 times but because I want to play 1 game. The other 4 times I meet tournament decks based on either killer-combo or killer-control such as counter, discard and land destruction.
I always played in the casual rooms but still was confronted by tournament decks, which the owners had spent lots and lots of money on buling. Why on earth aren't they then in the tournament rooms where they belong!?
Even with these 5 games for 1 good it's ok, but yesterday I played 15 without ever meeting one nontournament deck
So; now I've stopped playing it. Are there anybody else, who've tried something like that?

You can't expect people to pay money for decks that hardly works. As far as I know MTGO is dominated by pros who don't waste time assembling another miraculous elemental / mutant deck.
What do you play actually?

The simple solution is for you to switch to drafts.

@Warmonger:
I have bought some different boosters and made a deck with flying creatures and red spells dealing damage to creatures without flying. I've also made a green-white-black deck where I gain life and then pay life for different beneficial uses. My decks work but it's obvious I can't win in 3 turns before I get killed by that milling combo.
@Lord_Woock:
I also have done that a couple of times but it costs money. It would be nice if Wizards made free drafts where I don't keep the cards I choose and don't win tickets but so far they haven't.

Also, I've heard MTGO has a decent Pauper community. If your main gripe is that it costs too much money to stand a decent chance even in casual games, then you could try that format.

I'm sure that the developers would love to here your complaints, and ideas. They're really big on the feedback thing. Just pop them an e-mail about your situation, and they'll take your ideas unto consideration about the hole non-spoils draft. I think they might like that idea, and it'll persuade them if it comes from a player and not a marketeer.

@Lord_Woock:
Yes pauper is ok to play but having those few cool rare cards lying in your library is a nice feeling. Also the number of players doing pauper is quite small.
@sith_of_ziost:
I did not know they had that. I think I will give it a try.
