Pre ICTC 2010- Judges Search
That is correct. Soon ICTC will be launched, and this year I am hoping it will be bigger and better then ever. However, we need judges. I am hoping for at 3, hoping for maybe 5. I won't be a judge (I stink at being a judge  ), but will be coordinating the event (and the judges). Free donuts, coffee, aspirin, and soup for the volunteer judges. Sign up HERE if you wish to be a judge, but please ONLY if you can commit to it. The contest will launch early January, so plenty of time to get judges.
Edit : Before anybody volunteers I want to announce a new part of the contest. There will actually be 2 contests, the traditional ICTC, and 'Factions Remade' (FR for short). Where the contestants pick ONE faction and remakes it in the way they would like it to be.

I have entered this contest for the last three times, and so decidedly did not finish the last three times. I think its to to just leave it to the others. I will judge, Mytical.

A person can submit as many entries as they see fit for the original ICTC. For the fraction remade, I would prefer one entry..HOWEVER the community rules (IE if the community would prefer to lift the limit I will not stand in the way). As for a template..I am not sure to be honest.
So far we have two judges Sith and Dagoth. Hopeing for at least 1 more .

Okay. I don't know at the moment if I am going to participate. That depends on me having a good idea or not. Otherwise I would be honoured to serve as a judge. Is there some sort of deadline for this search?

Hope, you don't mind a fairly critical voice. 
Though there's still more than one month to go, I'd like to ask you, Mytical, whether you've already made up some ideas for grading or in general some rules for the contest?

I was under the impression that any person can enter both contests if they wish. We're all judging both, and each person can choose which contest to enter, even if they want to enter both. Am I mistaken?

Yep, people can enter one, the other, or both.
There will be a few rules different between the two, but basically here are the main judging points.
Originality
Functionality
History
Bonus Points
Originality - For all aspects. History, Creatures, Skills, Perks, etc. Worth 100 points. Given as x/100.
Functionality - How well does the town mesh together, does it function well as a whole? Worth 50 points.
History - Background, background, background. Who, what, how, where, why. Worth 100 points.
Bonus Points - Judge can give for any reason. I don't care if it is "I like the color of your shoes." 20 points.
