WOW Guild of Heroes
Greetings all Heroes Community peoples!
I, Berny-Mac, would like to propose the World of Warcraft Guild of Heroes.
In this we create new characters that battle, play, and do quests together. Soon enough we shall create our Guild of Heroes, specifically for members of Heroes Community. By the way, it'd be nice if we all stayed on one faction (I prefer Horde, sorry, but Undead Discipline Priests go a looong way...). And no, you can't have DeathKnights, otherwise we can't level together and do sweet stuff.
As for screennames, try to use your Heroes Community screenname, but a permutation such as "Baklavoth" would work.
We can discuss on what faction and realm to use here. And please, wait until we have fully ratified our decision.

why is it that there is some strange sentiment about WOW?
I really don't get it. It's fun, it looks good, it has a pretty decent storyline. What more do you need?

1) It looks cartoonish. Don't argue with it, it IS a reason some people don't play it, deal with it.
2) The lore is crap.

of course it looks cartoonish, but so does most of the Homm series (excepting Homm5, but its newer), not to mention that it actually is pretty old compared to most mmo's. Besides, its strong points is gameplay and social playing.
As for the lore, have you actually looked at the lore or read the books? It is actually pretty deep, of course, most people like to prejudge it on the basis that "only nerds and losers play it" which is total b.s.
As for Homm gamer mentality, why would many Homm players play that as well? Like me. It has nothing to do with the kind of game i think. Seriously, I feel as if most Homm players exist simply so that they can talk crap about WOW. Honestly, this makes me quite angry. Everybody being, "Oh no! This game is too much like Warcraft! That must mean it SUCKS!!!!". I really don't care if I get a QP taken away or even booted off of Heroes Community, because someone should be allowed to say and do as they wish without being put down by other people.

Do you know xerox has ben spamming incessantly about WoW a few months ago? That's why most of us are a bit tired of the whole sordid affair. I myself am not really a fan of mmo's. I even made a few threads about it. Anyway, peace out!
