Quote: Well man, this happened to all projects about changing the universe. Why just not stick to less ideas but doable in the mean time. Various small projects=huge database. Huge projects=locked after some time.
Truth to be said, I wasn't expecting this one to give up so soon. maybe reconsider with less options?
Less options = other mod. Ofcourse some could be removed, but it would be only about 10% of mod. So let's just forget this, it shouldn't be started, i've rushed to much.

Quote: this is an epidemy,i thought it be finished atleast,as a person who also used to mod h3,its a dieses that strikes in the hearts of developers of mods that disables them to continue,if we only had a cure.
Not an epidemy but innocent ignorance. One could think that creating new creatures or objects, scripting them, importing them is easy but it takes a lot of time and concentration. It takes 4-5 hours to import a WoW creature and polish it, so changing 20% of creatures is long as hell. Scripting is also a long and tedious process, as you need to go through the debug thing and choose between bad/incomplete explained ERM help(if you really have to do something new). Importing new objects can become really annoying because very few games have a similar palette and you have to work on each one pixel by pixel often.
But let's face it, it is not the difficulty which is to fear, but interest. Civilization is much harder to mod, still there are thousand of mods there. Hard to understand why HoMM had so little interest in modding.

Civilization is easier, i think so. HoMM have to much interest in modding but have too little ppl have skill, and time to make the change. That all.
@BJ
I am very sorry to heat that, hope meet you sometime in another project

IMO Bigjocker should have finished Quicksilver first, then take up a new project.
