Uncharacteristically, Ben had dismissed everybody and not said much. Days passed with nobody having any missions, or hearing from Ben. Every once in awhile the whole base would shake with the sounds of a primal scream.
Finally, he called everybody to the office. Standing beside him was a short dark skinned man with short cropped hair and a square jaw. Ben just grunted. "Will be away for a bit, he will be the man in charge while I am gone." Ben is in his 'wild' form..barely able to speak. Something is deffinately wrong. After this short speach, withoug giving anybody any time to ask questions, he departed.
The new guy looks at everybody. "Names Bulldog. Listen up. All but Jorn and Angel are recalled. There are new missions. I will need volunteers for the squads. Squad one will investigate the people that attacked this base. Ben is positive no other GR group is in danger, and that they are focused on this base alone. We want to varify this before anybody else learns of this."
"Group two will investigate a communications failure with earth. Recent activity suggests that it has something to do with some weird short outs. However, go in hot. All communication from the area is cut off, and there is interfearence with scanners. Take no chances. However, this IS earth. Minimal casualities."
"Group three will investigate the strange Mist that has been appearing on earth. Prism, I am hoping you will volunteer for this one as you have prior experience."
"Finally, a mutant was brought in recently with a fever. They died shortly after. Scans show no contaminates, however, that is why there was a lock down in effect. If you feel ANY symptoms, report back immediately."

Baal seemed to be deep in thought about something different. He thought about missions for a second and then answered with a voice full of apathy:
"Whatever!.."
Terra interrupted him and said:
"We both will take mission one, about copies."
Perhaps in those copies she found another self-complement, which was removed with the death of her own sister.

In the Observer chamber in an unknown place...
"Observer Alcander Cornor. We, the Observers of the Federation call this meeting to address the procedure, results, and conclusion of Project: Geist, Project: Enigma, and, of course, Project: Angel." said a voice from behind a picture of the Mona Lisa, though the voice was clearly from a com link.
Each Observer was in a similar fashion, but all had different objects that represented them, except for Alcander Cornor. He sat in a chair in the middle of Chamber, surrounded by all of the Observers.
"Now in the late twentieth century, a boy by the name of Jonathan Hollingdon came across some of the very first Rutopian artifacts. He then became Geist and wreaked havoc upon the world for centuries until we arrived. Observer 4 had the theory that the artifacts were connected to a Rutopian and sought to learn more about them. He then proceeded to take Geist hostage and observe the artifacts in greater detail. At the time we could not clearly see who or what was controlling Geist, so he modified each artifact so that it corresponded to our most powerful scientific and magical artifice yet, the Enigma. Observer 4 was so infatuated with the project that he placed his own soul within it. We then released Geist and found that with the collision of 3 forces, namely Avaris (him), Malvoreth (the Rutopian), and Enigma (Observer 4). What we had not foreseen is the accumulation of power by Enigma, otherwise known as Observer 4. He magically artificed it so that it consumes power through Geist, which means that Geist had to feed upon the souls of the living even more, which he already had to do to power his abilities, but now the need was extended tenfold. We then sent Geist to Section 3 to keep him close in case something went out of hand. Eventually, the power of Enigma was so great that it blocked out the Rutopian and Enigma. Remember, this was 50 years after Observer 4 entered Enigma's body, and during that time has not contacted us in any way. We suspect that then the Rutopian that previously controlled Geist was indeed Asmodeus, and Enigma wanted to ensure that Asmodeus died so he could then have Geist's soul when he died. He reasoned that if both of them were destroyed. Asmodeus will have no control over Geist then, but Geist will return to Enigma in the soul form because of the modifications he added onto the Geist artifacts, which is why he had Geist sacrifice himself, to absorb Geist's soul to become much more powerful. Observer 4 probably was not satisfied with the way we ran the IDPCO, and tired to make us attack the Venetians again, for he always had a great grudge against them. We wanted to avoid such a conflict, but not be destroyed by him. In other words, we were trying to sail between Scylla and Charybdis, and not be destroyed by either one. However, we had a trump card in our hands, Troy Fortinbras. We placed him in Section 3 so that he would have the authority to do whatever it took to recover the amulet (with the help of your agent, Narxas De'Barron) which we had not found amongst the wreckage, though the mask and gauntlets were found, thanks to Colonel Ryk Solon of the Thanatos, who had ensured us the upper hand. We also developed our own Enigma system, which was much larger than Observer 4's Enigma, and was 100% technology. Not magic was involved with its construction. It was outfitted with the best weapons to use against Enigma. Troy then donned the artifacts and entered the new Enigma system, which he had christened 'Ares'. He was then contacted mentally by Enigma, but because of Troy's ability Observer 4 was destroyed within his own mind and no longer posed a threat to us. It then returned Jonathan Hollingdon, who was once a prisoner of the first Enigma system, back to to real world, but in Enigma. After a while, Jonathan was returned to a clone body and was a mortal once more. As for Troy, he returned to Section 3 as High chairman, Observer 25, has requested. At this point we have had no contact from them and are close to sending out a scout ship to see what has happened."
From behind a royal crest with emblazoned swords and dragons upon it came the deep and intelligent voice of the High chairman of the Observers, Observer 25. "I am no longer concerned with Troy Fortinbras. He has played his part, and has done it well. We are no longer under any threat or pressure by the things we have created. If there are no more comments, then this meeting is adjourned."
Alcander Cornor then stood up and said, "High chairman, if I may ask, what of Project: Angel? Observer of the council, Observer 28, did mention it, yet I am unfamiliar with this project."
Observer 25 then replied, "Observer Alcander Cornor, Project: Angel is something that is restricted to me, Observer 28 and Observer 4, who is deceased. Observer 4 was the idealist of Project: Angel. Know that he did not want to come back into power simply because of his yearning for greatness of hatred of the Venetians. Project: Angel is dead now, and we do not wish to resurrect it. This meeting is adjourned."
With that all of the lights in the chamber went off except for the one over Alcander Cornor. He then left the chamber and flew back to his stronghold of base C87.

- Third attack during my stay here. Seems that the base has a huge hole in it's defence systems.- Alex's voice changed. It sounded like three or more voices talking at once and trying to over shout each other. - Also, what kind of incompetent idiots do you place in the PDF if you manage to lose contact with the whole planet? It's preposterous! And I'm getting to the bottom of this.- Alex stood up and exited the hall.

He also stood up, about to leave.

Kaiser left without saying a word. He was unsure of where his skill would best be placed, and who he should even try to partner with.
Prism stood there, in thought. She had encountered the mist before, but her powers could give group one an advantage, should they encounter their copies again. She knew though, group two would not be the one to best use her abilities.
"Alright. Group three it is then."

A breif breeze passes by Kaiser, and there is Zip in front of him. "Afraid Dispair asked me to keep an eye on you big guy. How about we team up and tackle the doubles with whoever else is going. Figure add Masq in, and things can get real interesting. What do you say?"

Meanwhile Baal was trying to get into Perseus' head to know more about his plans, who is he and what Baal can expect from him. Instead similar to the old radio finds another frequency, his mind captured a vision:
He saw the one, they called Angel and the demon with her. They approached Baal for definetely some very important conversation. The content of the conversation was lost with some noize replacing it.
Then Baal's mind returned.

- this is complete idiotism! How could someone lose contact with Earth? It's one of the core worlds after all. Something isn't just right here.- Alex activated the holographib projector.- anyone else who is assigned to go to earth, get onboard Crour Vult. That is all.
After an uneventfull stroll through the jungle the duo aproached the town. It was heavily fortified, maybe to defend the town from the dangers that lurk in the jungle.
- So, what now?
- I guess we need to find their prison first.

Perseus glanced between Baal and Alex, wondering who he should go with. Group 1 or Group 2...
He then stared at Zip, noticing her physical beauty and shapely form. Then his eyes veered onto Terra, but after a couple days of staying around, he learned (the hard way) that Baal and Terra were in a heavy relationship. His head still hurts. He then felt another pang. Apparently, Baal noticed his sudden thought...or it could just be an aftershock of what happened. He then decided that Zip was his best bet, not to mention that she was half venetian and therefore much more beautiful.
"Play it cool, dude, play it cool..." thought Perseus in his head. He then decided to go with Alex on the mission to Earth, knowing that it probably won't take much effort and that he'll be better at wooing Zip when not on a mission. He was smart enough to know that Venetian females on missions are much less casual than ones not on missions.

Prism watched as Perseus changed his mind on joining teams. It seemed a little odd, but it didn't matter to her any. It appeared as though no one else wanted to join her, for this part of the mission. None of the active members, at least. So, she left to go get prepared. Someone had to take care of it.
Kaiser, though, was just standing around, wondering when they were going to be doing something. There were doubles that needed to be hugged to death.

Alex just stood and watched his teammates choosing their assignments. He read a plane plate with the information gathered from the Sachara's digsite. The instalation seemed to be much bigger than expected. Newest discoveries were light anti grav vehicles, similiar to Federation's land speeders. However, Alex's technicians didn't managed to activate them.

((This is an Angel Only update for now..will do the other updates as soon as I can))
Angel finds it way too easy to get in. Place is quiet as a tomb. No guards, a few traps, but nothing serious. Mostly to detain or annoy intruders until guards can get them..but there is no guards.
Well not exactly NO guards..they find several of them unconcsious
They come upon a chamber that has a huge "Anti-Grav Holding Cell- Caution : Extreamly dangerous Prisoner" sign lit up over it.
Several more guards are outcold inside the cell, and there is a beautiful oriental woman chained, with a straight jacket on, suspended in Anti-gravity in the middle. For a moment Angel and her Demon are dumbfounded by the prisoners beauty. More attractive then even any Venetian they had encountered. Far more so. For a moment they know, beyond a shadow of a doubt that they would do ANYTHING this person asked. Obviously the prisoner is dangerous also however.
Although the people are only outcold, somehow the prisoner (contained as she is) found a way to knock out everybody in the entire base.
"About time somebody showed up." the woman says. "I was getting bored. Me and bored don't mix well together. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Kiki, Kiki Toshioto of the Toshioto Clan."

Perseus walked over to Alex and said, "Hey buddy, I guess I'll help you out. Never know what kind of craziness could be going on down there...I'll make sure your job gets done properly. Yup..."
Alex gave him a look of incredulity and Perseus saw in the corner of his eye that Zip look slightly disgusted.
"Or I can go work with Prism on the mist stuff..." said Perseus as he smoothly edged next to Prism and then said to her, "Hey there! I'm Perseus, in case you didn't know...yeah, I can 'manipulate light waves' as the scientists say...so you can make me more powerful, eh? That's cool...that's really cool...haha, so I guess I'm the light and you are the Prism, eh? hahaha, yeah, that was a good one...I came up with that one myself...yup...well, I guess we'd better get workin', eh? Cool...cool..."
"Not exactly the hottest gal around, but she'll probably make Zip jealous or something like that...yeah, and if not...well, she'll do for now..." thought Perseus.
