Uncle Elvinīs Duel Map - How to? :(
Hello, my name is Pei but you can call me noob today. I dont get Elvinīs duel map. Once i begin i find myself cornered in a small land and nowhere to go.
How do u play these maps?Im intrigued...

it's dedicated to multiplayer gameplay.
you level up your hero
visit all stat boosters and shrines
buy army/warmachines/spells and artifacts behind the green portal with angelwings
go through the other portal
visit well
fight your opponent
the end

Well...no. That post has lots of pages with my answer coded in it. Perhaps most people understand the mechanic of that map, even by simply reading the post but i dont and thatīs why i posted this.
Ive downloaded a map named TOH Duel which i believe is ur last version. I start a hot-seat game to understand the map but some objects arent open for click (meaning that the horse does not raise his pretty legs). Perhaps a trigger or some event or something does it, i fear ive encountered a cultural bareer cause if my answer is in the post then i couldnt see it. I do not know what im doing wrong, so any help is welcomed.
As i understand it:
I start in a limited space with a whole lot of resources to just buy lots of creatures in my castle. Then fight in some dewllings or sometrhing. I do not see any green portal with angel wings. I cant access warriorīs tomb or other objects.
Please, have patience with me, ive already stated im a noob.

Many things are inaccessible, just used for eyecandy. Green portals are in version 1.1 so no wonder you didn't find any  Just get what you can and head for the center through the one way monolith, your opponent is supposed to meet you there. I don't believe you can bet on the AI to do those things but I never tried, map was designed for playing with humans.

Thanks Elvin, my problem is that i cant seem to find the monolith. I can see the one in the undergrounds where im supossed to enosnower my opponent but i cant see any from my start point.

Let's make another try. This is the current map are you sure you still cannot see the monoliths? The portals with the glowy effects that transport you elsewhere?

First of all, thanks for the replys, im very sure its my fault. Ill be posting pics in a momment or two, this map version seems the same as the one i have.
Im gonna try it. Perhaps a mod is needed and i dont have one?or something like that?or perhaps i just dont know how to use a monolith by distance cause no monolith appears accesible to my hero start point.
I have to go to my momīs house now...thatīs a long trip to no technology land so if i am lucky then one of my bros will be there with his note to continue chatting about how stupid i am

Im sure im missing something...or there is some HV functionality unknown to me or my eyes have melted or i have drinked way too much that green thing from teenage mutant ninja turtle..what was its name?mutagen?

Oh. You are supposed to be teleported to your area the moment the game begins, not stay in the snow area. Only cases where the teleporting script has not worked for me is when net is too slow but you must be playing hotseat.. Don't know why it would not work for you, done a lot of testing in hotseat and never had this issue. Maybe you have mods, any modded maps, ncf, maybe a custom campaign that interferes? Normally they shouldn't either but I can't think of something else.

I have nothing like these. No custom nothing. Ive a spanish tote version. Perhaps its that?
I was hoping i had made a mistake so i could play the map as soon as i disovered my stupidity but it seems its much worse...now im clueless and stuck in mom`s house with no HV.

It occasionally hasn't worked for me with certain heroes. I'll just sit at the original town and I'll have to restart.
