Why did the creature refuse to go down? The swing from the axe should have killed it, well the hit was not good enough.
So it was to swing again.

Abaddon held the creature in his grasp while his ratling companion hitted it with his club. Abaddon started strangling the damn serpent.

As he squeezes, Abbadon notices something hard and solid is in the Serpentfly’s body.
Kamahl looks around and sees a great deal in the way of swamp muck and trees. There are some logs nearby from trees that have fallen and a few stones on the nearby hillside. ((Are you looking for anything in particular mamga?))

Mark swings his weapon down on the battered Serpentfly, neatly slicing its head off. Something gold and shiny falls out of its gizzard, plopping out onto the muddy ground.

Jack attacks Serpentfly 4 and ((Roll = 91)) misses!
Jack attempts to hit one of the wounded snake-creatures but his sword and dagger both fly past harmlessly. He looks frustrated.

These creatures just didn't seem to be able to do anything to Glenn. Though, he couldn't seem to do much of anything to them either. This body seemed so weak. This weapon seemed so basic. It was all he had, however.
Glenn looked around for a bug that looked as though it was in poor condition(4), and struck at it.

Having landed enough hits, Glenn attempts to use one of his techniques that he had prior to this change of bodies. He'd have been able to strike down all these creatures, had he still been able to do so.
"Huh? Oh... Right. Curse it!"
Glenn pushes through the swamp, to smack another fly with his club.((Was about to put a letter... 6 though.))

After failing to hit the creature again, Abaddon fell into the murky water of the marsh. He got up, grinding his teeth. This time he sneaked up upon one of the creatures and tried to hit it again.
