I placed it in H3sprite.lod but still low size pointer and can't see.
What am I missing?
I run ERA 1.91.
I have no HD activated.

Then I think the problem is in your h3wog.exe

Alex, I can't find anyway to get view earth working well. I placed your radar.def in data. Do I have to activate H3sprite.exe or patch.bat as well?
When I use the executable you uploaded, all ok, but the executable is 3.58, so scripts from ERA do not load.

Backup your ERA executable. Rename it to "heroes3.exe". Run "XXL.exe". Then run patch.bat.

Thanks, I got it working. Now, if I release this patched exe in the package, along with the radar.def, will the player need to do any manipulation or he will be able to get the feature just from using my executable?

RADAR.DEF in .LOD + patched .exe, nothing more is needed. Yet, don't forget about the fix.

Ok, one problem gone, another one appears
The new radar.def crashes the game when left click on minimap. Not only on my system, Eto also has it. Maybe patch problem, I replaced with old radar.def, still crashes.

Do you think would be very hard to identify the problem? ERA uses TE.exe at base. What exactly the patch modify in the exe?
When using HD mod and not patched ERA.exe, both minimap and view earth work...it just that HD mod screws my dialogs sometimes
It seems to me the problem is here:
As shown, the radar is very big on XXL and does not allow precise search. Maybe its size is what screws view air?

That happens because ERA executable wasn't patched properly, or even at all.
Maybe you just wait till baratorch fixes dialogs?

It is clear for me that the patch changes the frame the game reads from radar.def. I got them inversed, view air use the little frame and minimap uses the big one. I have to find a way to revert them.

Thank you Alex, indeed I see the correct radar def but map crashes as soon as I click on minimap. I have difs.txt in root folder.

I have no crashes. Probably, you have placed an incorrect RADAR.DEF in .LOD?
