No you can't. They are useful only for modders and currently there is no easy way to add more creatures to your game.

You can replace units in game by replacing def files. You can also modify them in other ways. (stats, sounds, skills etc.) Just look around, there are many tutorials here showing how to do this.

Im from Poland so downloading from acidcave isnt a problem for me, but on this page there arent creatures im lookin for.

I also search for the old Hota Kronverk units. They are not in the Acidcave archive, it seems. Does anyone here still have them and could share them? I want to create some kind of northern/viking styled town, and they would fit well into it.
Here are the buildings and one creature which i already created.
(The background is not final, i still search for a better one. Its just to show the buildings.)

I had the impression that in the polish Acidcave forum someone was already working on some Kronverk-like city, but the translator was really bad. Could someone who is also on Acidcave perhaps tell me if this is true?

You are partially right. Some guys from Acid Cave claim that they starting to work at Kronverk, but you know... they are young and know only Gimp...

Only few of Kronverk units did have their own defs, you won't be able to complete whole line up out of them.
There should be mountain dwarf somewhere, perhaps in one of creature pack for VCMI
As for people working on Kronverk in Acidcave, as avatar is saying: I won't see it as serious ongoing project
