Yes, but grail makes every week from now on a week of Familiars.
Keep in mind that you can easily sacrifice them in battle and farm with Pit Lords in order to get many Demons.

actually, it seems that if you let the population of imps grow for a few months with the grail, you could easily end with several thousands of them. in the long run, it could even beat necropolis, even if your opponent has the soul prison and is raising legions of skeletons on imps.
in another hand, he could still attack your castle before it's too late, which is less likely with stronghold for example,
+ 20 attack makes you think.

Because the question was : "what is the best grail structure" and not
"what is the best grail structure if DD and FLY are banned" and it wasn't specified if we talking about single player/multiplayer or multiplayer only ,obviously the Conflux's grail (DD,FLY ,Phoenix + Armageddon ,Resurrect,Town Portal) is the best , seconded by the Tower.
As for looking , i like the Barbarian's grail.

what is so great about the tower grail? you already probably know most of the map if you found the grail and it's not like wizard really need a boost in knowledge.
I think I would rather have the +12 spellpower from guardian of earth
best looking I think is deity of fire.
I've rarely found the grail, but I remember once, I had it as the barbarian and the AI attacked my castle... there were no cyclops, they were with my main hero (yog) but orcs still crushed the opponents army. that was impressive, because orcs aren't really a good unit.

I like the Necropolis's grail very much since i kinda focus much on the necromancy skill. Tower too because you can see the entire map, pretty usefull. And Conflux for all the spells nom nom nom.

best looking grails are easily deity of fire and guardian of earth.
overrated - tower - 99% of the time I already have 80% of the map uncovered so the map revealing isn't that useful
most useful - conflux - unfair to get all spells + 6 phoenixes per week. have armageddon now and 4 of the creatures in this army are immune to armageddon. automatic win
