Soulkey, Zest, Innovation!!!
Hmmm, indeed Group C is veeery easy. Group A and D are sick... D is definately the most interesting group, and I'd actually go with that as the group of Death.. Soulkey, Innovation at the same group!! Love it!! And add Zest! Holyyy!
I actually agree, that group A is harder. So I change my vote But, the old rivalry of Soulkey, Innovations, so pumped!
But then again, PartinG hasn't won GSL.. and Inno, Soulkey and Zest have
Edit: That of course doesn't count really, like PartinG is way "tougher" than Innovation in current form. So Group A is indeed group of death. All 3 PartinG, soO, herO are contenders to win the whole thing!
Let alone mention that winning a title a considerable time ago doesn't neccessarily make you now a top player/better than one without it.
For a long time INnoVation hasn't performed like he did in his peak, and Shine is a cheesy and unreliable Zerg.
On the other hand, all three PartinG, herO and soO have been very impressing this last months (all three were in Top 8 of previous GSL, unlike INno or Soulkey), and Classic is still a strong Protoss that by no means should be underestimated.
I keep what I said, group A is the Group of Death, albeit by no big margin.
____________
You wouldn't say Innovation is a top player? But I do agree that group A seems closer, especially given how they're all proti and PvP is the cheesiest matchup.
Storm-Giant said:With top player I mean among the best in Korea. By his past performances over the last months, INnoVation isn't one of them.
But if you look it that way, herO also isn't one of them, he has been struggling since IEM and looked a lot worse than in his prime. I would even give the edge to the Classic over herO right now to be honest.
Still, groups look quite good, and 3 SKT players in one group is pretty much guaranteed when you have 7 of them in the Ro16.

If by struggle you mean reaching Top 8 on last GSL (where he had to play like 2 days after IEM WC, probably with some jet lag) and a rather strong performance on Round 3 of Proleague (6-5)...he also finished first in GSL today above Inno, didn't he?
While it's true that he isn't on a hot streak like a few months ago, I still hold my breath before saying he is struggling right now. We may disagree though.

Well yes, they completely swarmed the tourney

When I said after IEM, I've meant all that together after that week when he had both IEM and GSL.
And to be perfectly honest, 6-5 is quite a bad result for the player of his caliber.

I guess Taeja will win the whole thing, just for the sake of TL ranking him as the best Terran of 2014.

Storm-Giant said:I would put HyuN together with TaeJa. As of lately, HyuN has been very strong, and right now Zerg seems to have a considerable edge in ZvT.
Of course, there's a second, smaller batch of players that will be announced later. Maybe with a few KeSPA players.
Nah I was just making a joke how Taeja is considered as best Terran of 2013, by TL's standards because he won bunch of Dreamhack's...

My dumb mind read 2013, I'm sorry
BTW:
It overlaps with HomeStoryCup IX, but should be great nonetheless!
