It is not nearly as fun to dislike Rolster now that Life is in there, lol, but yeah I definately am still an SKT1 boy! Well I guess I just hope Life wins his match and SKT1 takes all the other games
And what a shame herO lost his last game today, it would have been 8-0!!!

Sometimes take a while to have it updated.
BTW, sWs (and a few others) were denied to play in WCS for not having a Masters account, as the rules state. That's alright, you would say. They're abiding by their own rules, right? Wait for it. Jaedong and StarDust are eligible to play in WCS.
Quote: Both of them recently acquired their US P1 Visas, and each has provided documents verifying that all travel and residency requirements are being met prior to Challenger—as a result, we ruled that both are eligible to compete.
I don't know about Jaedong, but StarDust played from a Gold() account. So just because they are popular, they are exempted from the rules? What a load of BS from Blizzard.
Let alone mention that they were playing the qualifiers from Korea when, if I remember correctly, the rules state they must play from their server region.
To top it all:
Quote: StarDust and Jaedong have worked incredibly hard and given up opportunities to play in other tournaments to join the WCS. We look forward to watching them compete in Season 2.
Oh yes, they have given up on competing on the x10000 times more difficult GSL & NSSL in order to snatch the ez money from WCS. Such a hard decision!

It's also in the rules that traveling and playing outside of your area is fine if you run it by Blizzard, no? Which it appears Jaedong and Stadust did... So they did not break rules.

Mmmm
Quote: "Qualifiers will be open to players that fulfill the residency requirements and are Master-level or above on the official qualifier region’s StarCraft II ladder (preceding or current season)"
So no way StarDust should be eligible to play in the qualifiers because of that.
About playing from Korea:
Quote:  Participants are required to play all tournaments and ladder games from the country listed on the account during the tournament season. Blizzard will check IP connections at its discretion.
 Participants that need to travel outside of their country of residence during the tournament will be required to provide details to Blizzard for review.
They are breaking the first point, unless the second overrides the first one. But that would be terrible cheap lol.

Seems straightforward to me - Rule number 1 is the general way to handle things and rule 2 is for exemptions if the reasons are legit. Why would you want such rigid rules that during a tournament you are basically forbidden to travel at all? Who does THAT benefit actually?
As for Stardust I don't know if he was Masters last season then? If not then indeed he shouldn't have competed and it was an oversight of the production.
You jump the favoritisim-gun way too fast...

So you are upset about people born in Korea being able to play in WCS in the first place?

I recommend you guys to watch this Parting vs Myungsik game 3 of today's GSL. It's probably one of those unique games that don't happen that often at all. I personally haven't seen anything quite like it.
