Damn naniwa should have defended against those last roaches on whirlwind, that would have reached godlike levels after that
Quite pleased that I stayed up to watch the finals, after everything, even with life's constantly changinig strategy that I really admire, I still liked naniwas gaming more, he had that one build he really bet on and boy it brought us some glorious games, just make an oracle for detection goddamnit

I liked Naniwas holds, but I didn't like his games more. There was nothing as exiting as was as in Life's games ;P

I really like that actually. The problem for me was that such a cheap unit could potentially do such massive AoE damage. Now for such devastating hits, while they still are possible, you need a couple of mines together. So the cost is closer to 150/50 or now and quite much on supply as well. Thumps up

I still think Terrans will be slaughtered with this patch
And I still doubt Terrans will go to a mix of Siege Tanks and Mines...they'll probably stick to WM.

I've seen them a few times. But they are tricky. I'll try to explain why you don't see on normal compositions.
Tempest have high range of attack (15, two more than Siege Tank). On the other hand, they have a BIG cooldown between attacks - 3.3 seconds. This way, they slowly take down your enemy lines (be units or buildings) from the safety of your main army (High Templars with storm and Colossus to scare them away). So, where is the problem?
- They have a ridiculously low DPS. This mean they are near useless on a straight fight. So normally you want better units.
- In the current form, they are hard, no, excuse me, they are ULTRA Counters of air, massive units. Since their attack does 30 of damage plus 50 to massive air units. 80 of total damage. That means low numbers tempest desintegrate high count of massive air units in little time.
So, the big problem is, Tempest aren't usually made because their rivals are smart enough to don't make Massive Air Units against toss. Thus, they are not needed for that.
(They are also strong vs Tanks, but since P also has the inmortal, you simply don't see mech in TvP anyways)
Apart from that, the only real use I saw of them was to use them against Swarm Host/turtle based play, since Tempest may take them down from the distance. But SH play isn't very popular right now either so...

Watching HuK vs Apocalypse has been a torture, jesus christ, I think this was the worst play I've seen in ages. As IdrA said: "this is like worst army control vs 2nd worst army control" t.t
