E3 2010
So....I just saw nintendo's E3 presentation and discovered(to my slightly shock) that there was no E3 thread here on HC.
THERE! Problem solved.
So...Nintendo is releasing a NEW 3D HAND-HELD CONSOLE! Named...3DS! And a new Kid Icarus game is the first thing that will be released for it...NICE.

It rings painfully true. They seem to take the safer approach with sequels and relaunching similar technology which I suppose is the 'correct' way when it comes to business. Or is it?

But then again, when I saw that Spider-man 2099 preview my mind was blown as I caught a glimpse of the human mind trancended. Then I woke up and saw that it was merely a dream and the reality of the matter was that lately not many things in relation to Spider-man have been as much as they ought to have been.

That was one ridiculously badass trailer.
I never played the first game but I love this guy's reverse-hold on the lightsabers.
Not much of star-wars fan but if the game turns out even half as awesome as that trailer imma buy it instantly.

What's the verdict on sony, ubi and EA?
The original donkey kong country had absolutely stunning visuals, excellent music and brilliant level design(with the exception of horrible bosses). The new one seems to lack the visual style, can't say anything for the music, bosses seem as stupid as ever and level design seems a tad irratic with no clear theme style.The second and third DK country mainly played with some new ideas with level design and gameplay to keep the series going. I didn't see any new ideas in that new one either. What is it going to have to make it interesting?

From what I've gathered from the various outlets, Nintendo has "won" E3 this year, Microsoft and Sony have underwhelmed.
PC remains neglected, as usual.
Pretty weak chart by the way, Joonas. M$? Really? Funny how you never see $ony.

any news about new RTS games? that genre really needs a good game! i haven't played a good RTS since Age of Empires II. the only thing that has been improved are the graphics. i don't need no fancy 3D, i want a better gameplay!
i'm still hoping for a game that has everything of AoE II + the castle building and resource management of Stronghold, the diplomatics of civilisation + the epic feel of the battles and historic accuracy of the "total war" series + implementation of seasons + weather effects on your production, morale and everything.

It's way too long.
Sony is afterall much easier and shorter.

Wow both Star Wars trailers looked better than the movies.
