Things that bothered you in the H5 editor you want changed for H6
There are a number of things i find rather annoying that i think the editor would benefit if they were changed.
When I click on something and it turns completely red, that drives me insane.
The small buttons, and the gray and confusing layout. The SC2 Editor labels things clearly without need for tediously searching.
The rotation headache. You can't rotate all objects and when things like portals have to be rotated manually makes it tedious.
The need for clicking the object properties after clicking an object. Double clicking is much quicker and can free up space on the command panel up top.
You should be able to bring up the object properties tree only when ctrl+right click, to spare people from loosing the object they were editing simply couse they clicked on something random.
Add your list of complaints so that we can have an editor that we can actually use!

Developers assure us that the editor will be good this time, but some extra complaining could certainly help accentuate our point.

I'm generally pretty fine with the H5 editor, though I can see why it'd be frustrating. Things I'd change about it:
-Actually have good guides to go off of early on, especially with scripting. I struggled a lot early on just coming up with anything that worked.
-Make more of the objects moveable/removable. Currently only non-interactive objects are removable (trees, rocks, etc).
-Make it so that the TransformTown function doesn't just reset everything about the town.
-For each object I'd have a drop down box associated with it (similar to the eyeglasses button, but with more options), instead of forcing the editor to have to dive through layers of game files to do any modifying or editing.
-Have an easy/quick way for the editor to test out sounds and things so that they know which ones to select.
-If H6 has big bosses (similar to Kings Bounty), then I want to be able to custom make my own.
-Remove the check messages "error with xx,yy crag intersection!" lol they are useless.
-Make bridges easier to use
I'm sure there's others, but honestly if you sit and think about a problem for a bit in the H5 map editor you can usually come up with a creative solution that still achieves what you originally wanted.

Sometimes the editor removes models and effects I created after I saved the map...

I'd like the editor to be Mac OS compatible.
I know, I'm crazy. But it bothers me that all the mac users got the shortest possible end of the stick: no expansions, no editor, and (largely due to no expansions) zero-compatibility with the more intensive user mods.

How about the fact that the models were inconsistently named?
If i wanted arcane archer and i searched it in the editor, OOPS the arcane archer is actually named sharp shooter in game. Sorry, but endless hours of searching are gonna end blowing up in your face.

Lol, that was just the start of it. The bag of gold was actually the sack, and the sack was the bag (when you used giveartifact, etc) lol. There are a ton of other misnamed spells and artifacts that.

- The ability to make non-square shaped maps (at least rectangular) would be useful.
- A custom arena editor. For boss or unique fights.
- Built-in script editor or H3-like event system interface.
- A custom "fills" brush creator.
- Some tools for modding inside the editor would be nice.
