HOMM Complete Edition question
Alright. Its not often Im on here so much anymore. But I kinda got a taste for HOMM again.
So I decided to install HOMM I-IV from Ubisofts HOMM Complete Edition released a few years ago.
The thing is, I imagined that the last time I installed HOMM I-IV I didnt need to use EITHER of the two discs to run them.
One disc installs HOMM I-III and all of the respective expansions and patches.
Another install everything regarding HOMM IV.
Now I run as admin and all, set compability modes to 95 on the games that demands it, no problem. The proble is that I need the respective discs to run them... Should I really need them at all? I do insert the discs for then to eject them while playing but that shouldnt be needed IMO.
I cant really find anything wrong in the way I installed them either (not much that could go wrong either)
Any idea if its true or not to be albe to run them without the install/play discs?

You need the disc to play anything but (joining) multiplayer games.

Not sure if you are still around, but you might try the approach I used to get my Homm3 Complete (just the third game with both expansions) a try. Here is the link:
