What was wrong with "Grave Ghoul"?

The only unit's name that bothers me is Lich.
Yes I know that its a long-standing tradition for Necropolis to alsways have liches (dunno about h4) but the description that was given, in Elvin's faction overview thread, about the lich, it is so far from what a lich really is.
I should not need to explain the nature of liches, you should all know.
However, in the same description, it says "This “treatment” turns them into Asakkus, or “Liches”,". There, thats a name to make the creature fit the description much better, Asakkus. This, as a base name, could certainly be modified to account for the upgraded form.

Indeed, when I first saw the concept I was quite dissapointed. The H3 were really meancing and the H5 had that cool boss-like pose and nice, quirky artfiacts on it's clothing(even though its skirt was completely pointless, save for being large).
Again, I agree. It feels like they are bring the concept of "Asha, the spider goddess" a bit to much to into the mix. It feels more like the necros have become drug addicts instead cultists lolwut?
The mummy could have perhaps been a very suitable replacement for the liches, seeing as how mummies fit more into the lich concept than these guys do.

the H3 liches looked AWESOME!
I remember years ago, I created a H6 concept which included a necro creature based on them except that it was a melee creature called Soul Hunter or something like that
it was a mix between the h3 lich and those tall robots wielding electric spears in Star Wars

We know the many Naga creature names changed, so perhaps the pearl maidens or another creature was renamed to Priestess.
