vlahul said: Hi,
1. templates: 2smf and 4sme. Personally i consider these ones the most complete and balanced in h3. Potentially Balance too, but at very high experienced players 1-2 easier zone brakes can win the game.
2. time - top players can play 2 minutes time.
3. No conservatory, no hives.
4. No skills speciality heroes.
5. Potentially no tomes.
6. No born logistic.
7. No bugs at all.
8. Preferably no dwells. This can be argued however. Even a lvl 2 dwell can change the side of game. However this can be argued as stated.
9. The draw rule
10. "Red Rush Extended"
And 200% difficulty. Making every decision important and giving importance to every faction strategy.
Every noob can build angels on 160% or brake full treasory in week 1 with 30 archers.
In general very nice idea.
Because the way competitions or online games are played... well let's just say - there is almost nothing left of town's unique strategy.
Which brings us to number 3 - YES PLEASE! No Hives and Cons.
Everything else U wrote is simply trivial compared to point number 3.
About number 2 i don't agree. People are real different. Myself i'm very slow person and hate to rush thinking. 2 minutes a turn is a joke. U can't move even stacks around normally with that. If u have 3 or more heroes, how can u use 2 minutes? I'd really like to know... Top players usually take loads of time to think their moves and doublecheck everything to avoid mistakes. It's called passion in game. Noobs are easygoing and they generally get bored to wait long (it was even in some general tutorial in sticky here in H3 community).
Oh, number 1 - have to try these templates then. I am very tired of Jebus Cross or even Poor Jebus anyway - too many relics and Utopias. So YES, why not.
4. I don't agree. Heroes with secondary skill specials are best yes, but there is huge difference between these skills. U can't put Offense and Eagle Eye in the same pot. Every town almost have some real killer heroes. Most of them are the ones that have Offense/Armorer/Logistics specialties. Hence every town have these to choose among, i can't buy it, why must ban them.
5. Rather would say yes. U brought out fine arguments, nothing more to add.
6. Not agree on that at all. Reasons brought out already on point 4.
7. Didn't get your idea here actually.
8. Dwells can be. Why not? But the luck factor... well some luck factor must be still in game. Problem is, when one player gets 2 additional level 7 dwellings and other don't find one. So it would be nice, if at least level 7 dwellings are somehow placed equally.
ONLY town dwells. Let's not confuse them with Cons, Experimental Shops and Hives.
Your last statement is somewhat funny i think (no offence).
200% diff. suppose to make every faction strategy count or what? No my friend
That whether they count, depends on if we play "regular angels and wyverns dragging around" game or we play "native - every town unique strategy" game.
This difficulty level, if people play online and no AI, sets in that case only the amount of money. 200% would give advantage to Fortress and Stronghold, as they are real cheap.
