You've piqued my interest
Please explain, why do you think these factions are better?

6 hero classes instead of 1 for every faction
re-introduction of advanced classes
(according to most HC members) better graphics for the creatures.
If you need more tell me

Quote: H5 had 6 faction in vanilla, and they were plenty unique IMO.
H6 has more creatures than H5 IMO.
1 less faction, 2 more neutrals. Oh, and the bosses, but they don't count since you can't recruit them.
Quote: This 5 factions are better than the 8 H5 factions and even trough H1 had only 4 factions...
Agreed, but again the 6 factions in H5 are way more unique than the 8 in H3, so why are we only getting 5 this time?

Look at Heroes 1 and you can TASTE the uniqueness!
Knight: Good Might
Sorceress(or whatever the forest town was named): good Magic
Barbarian: Evil Might
Warlock: Evil Magic
Then H2 added:
Wizard: Good magic
Necromancer: Evil Magic
Do I see something repeated here? And then it gets worse with H3
Inferno: Evil Might
Lizards: Neutral Might (I just cant decide if it is good or evil)
then H5 gets us some:
Dwarves: Good (WTF! on one part is Defencefull and at the same time relying on spellpower)
And now:
Naga: Good Magic
that makes 10 factions on the entire series (not even talking about that conflux anomaly as it was just a bunch of elementals with some Sorceress rejects!)

I suggest checking the previous 5 homm games
then please show me the warlock in H4.
And I also think, that they just putted quality over quantity, the biggest problem for ubi were most likely the heros, because we have so many heroes with so many unique abilities, which makes it hard to balance them very well(not to forget, that the heroes have different skill trees).

Any hero majoring in Chaos and Nature magic. Most usual, the former Sorcerers who take up Nature magic, or Druids who take up Chaos magic, as the only other possibilities are might heroes turned magical.

a sorcerer learning nature or a druid learning chaos = warlock.
Does that answer your dilemma?
