I know the feeling. I'm still trying to have a bit of an organised RPG going on, though. 
EDIT: Loooooong post is up. Quick reiteration of geography.
Kingdom we're in is Dromand. To the north is a big empire, called "The Second Ergitan empire," though the native populace calls it Ergitain Empire and you swine are snowising the name. This empire is run by decisively byzantine politics. To it's (high) north you find a clan of templars. To it's west there is a huge ocean with a great cluster of islands where a lot of the wizard wars were fought, as far as Swain knows, but near the borders of Bromand there was also some fighting.
I'm being incredibly expository here. Anyone who has gone with me so far, thank you for your patience.
I'm going to HCM WO, now. Now that Charles is clear the next person is allowed to go and say "hells yes, I loves me some treasure huntin'."

I would have played along.
Also, Obsidian's people are on the front lines of the major demon portals. There are no "Small bands of sneaking demons" that dare attack these people. They have their pride for good reason.

Naah, just a rule that mvass might have be a bit unfamiliar with, yet is a bit like the law among hardcore RPG'ers: don't ever take control of an other character, ever.
Even if it's for a token reply, it's no, because, just like we tolerate elodin and the baptist church, we can't throw the rules away for convience, because we fear people may take the rules too far. Constructing dialogues and fights are usually done in HCM or MSN or whatever instant messenger service.
